Hey, Rodney. How come you could write this message at 11:40 am when you were supposed to be down at Port Authority by 12 pm?

Anyway, this "2 out of 20" is the Wild Card I told you before. In each of twenty leagues, the 2nd place goes to the Wild card. Only one person from each team can play. There are two tournaments of 10 team and you have to win in order to proceed. So, I suppose Kyasao's team chose Shinz. I don't think other people had to play against Chibita, if they met in Wild card.

I will tell u guys/gals what actually happened.

Each block has 3 teams....

the team that wins twice gets to advance with no issues.

The team that loses twice...well...GO HOME, sleep on the floor...pollute the air with ur smokes n swear swear swear...who gives a shit...but anyway...that's what they all do.

We were in the cute situation of 'one win, one loss'.

Teams that were in this situation has to face each other in a death match.

U send out ur best player...to win 5 straight matches...alone >.<

So shinz did everything right until he met chibita..n was doing great...then came the korean curse....COMMAND ERROR!

I don't want to say too much about yesterday...

only that in all the beat tribe cup tourneys that i have seen, yesterday's standard was the highest.

it was intense...if yoro was in any other team...I think homestay n co would have been in SERIOUS trouble.

P.S : I don't know who recorded kyasao's 2nd match in the tourney...but being right behind the man himself...n seeing him turn around n just scream n all of us shaking him to bits...it's special.

N then crouching right next to shinz n watching him lose....it was painful. I learnt new stuff abt team tourney yesterday.

It's all about watching your friends doing well. When mukki met the same fate as Shinz, left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Me, adam, and Jerky just couldn't bear the watch the tournament for a while. We were just doing what everyone else did...sit n chat n reflect.

I believe pablo knows what I mean.

hey you guys want to do a vf meet tonight around 10-11 at new koyo. We got sticks and i think stomps got a ps2. just post back here - or knock on our door around that time.

once i get stomp and LPC's pictures ill try to upload them, hopefully by tommorow.

woo woo! the tourney was just fucking awesome. socal team got to play on the machines that were attached to the big screen and had an announcer. that was really cool.

met a lot of vf peeps there of course and hopefully we'll all get together before I leave to go drinking! Anyway, i've been inspired to play more VF and soon i'll get my revenge...

The US team with moonsuke in it....the lead was lost initially, then aoi n pos caught up...but in the end, shun beasted us...

I know my friend and i tried to talk to shinz in english and he didnt' understand much,,, very quite and nice...
kyasao spoke some to everyone ,, an d learned more from everyone. he really is a great guy..
everyone in vf that was there was truly humble and very generous towards everyone...
very nice impression on me..

all in all it quite a good event, cool to meet some overseas guys who play, and see some guys who i met at evo and elsewhere once more. my team got its ass wiped in the first round (no thanks to our strongest player being call into work the day of the tournament!) but it was fun to see so many styles and types of players cramped into one relatively small room. to all those who came it was cool meeting up and shifting the "he doesnt belong here" focus away from me for a few days, and to all those who didnt come, when you get the chance bring your happy asses over here!
