This thread was all the way back on the 5th page! We've been slacking!

Here's some videos of a small meet we had yesterday. This week 6 of us are going to Stockholm, Sweden, where we will meet up with some Swedish players! Expect a lot of Sweden vs the Netherlands videos next week!

You can become very good by playing online, as long as you're aware of what should and what shouldn't work (according to frames, anyway..).

Where there's a will, there's a way!

nice matches krye. You are right on the brink of attacking lei fei just right : ) you really have the timing of when to attack down, you just aren't using the right moves. Lol, it looked like lau was trying to attack a porcupine. But if u woulda chose the right move then those lei fei flow charts coulda been cut short. FYI, after blocking the lei fei back turned uppercut k, you did a move that whiffed over his head, you should be using a good floater with an upward trajectory (lau uppercut floater maybe?) i use lei's 9kg, its a 16f i believe and works just fine. Anyhow, nice timing in trying to thwart his attacks.

I'll work on that, up until now it's always kind of been hit-or-miss when playing against Lei Fei's, since I'm never 100% sure of the moves I should be using. Those matches I posted here didn't go so well, obviously.. Although I must give props to Seiko_Killa for playing so well, so I don't want to blame it all on myself, haha.

I remember 1kk being very successful a lot of times when playing against Lei Fei, I don't know why I stopped using that.

Something to work on, for sure!

Kingo (kingofvf4) is a great Aoi player, we always have great matches, even if we only play online!

Still hoping to play some offline matches against him some time!

In this case it would have beaten the sweep yes, but overall its not a good idea. Koko K itself is not punishable and Lei (nehan) P and (nehan) P+K will both Sabaki Laus df+P+K or similar. Not to mention Lau df+P+K will be interrupted by nehan P+K because its too slow. You need something that is at most 18 frames (can be more if it ducks high attacks) and isnt highpunch, midpunch, elbow, sidekick or knee. Have fun with Lei /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

I might go for /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif or similar. Generally I think low attacks are a good bet after you block Leis koko shiki attacks. Interrupting koko K is also possible with an elbow, mixed with slightly delayed low punch (beats Koko P and if youre really lucky, Koko K as well, 1 frame window). Neither of these is too risky if Lei does the Koko evade instead.

If Lei doesnt do those and does some part of Koko /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif string, dont try to interrupt it. It just doesnt work. Last mid doublepunch is evaded to Leis front (and is fuzzyguard safe on block).
