So true. As much as I appreciate Evo part of me is still holding out for a true sequel to VF3 with a proper escape implementation and 3D limb IK back in place. There was something really dynamic about the fights in VF3 and the stages were just beautiful.

My most significant VF3 memory was being on holiday in NYC but taking out some time to play VF3 with Shag (and some other local), who later joined myself and my mate at Centrofly for some Eric Morillo. Ah, those were the days. Never before had a game obsessed me so much that I NEEDED to play it while on vacation. /versus/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I'll never forget that day. We had some fun. Even if the games were $1 a piece. /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Was it really Eric Morillo spinning that night!!!!!! I was too sloshed to remember. I never drank so much in my entire life./versus/images/graemlins/blush.gif Wish we could have gotten some more games in but we were both too fucked up to do anything the next day. I'm still curious how silly I must have looked in those pictures you took. haha /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Oh yeah. VF3. The game was great. I still miss the E button and stages. But I've had more fun playing Evo honestly.

It was definately Morillo spinning that night, although we got chucked out of the club after a few hours becasue we were so bladdered. /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Will need to get those pics posted to you - my mate Andy still has them somewhere, they're hillarious.

Yea, I'm enjoying Evo too and have more competition these days. There's now quite a cool wee gathering up here in Scotland. Still miss the fluidity of VF3 however, and I reckon I was much better at VF3 than I am Evo, but that could just be my reflexes draining away with old age. /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I have to thank you so much for offering these brillant VF3 videos; they have really waken some great memories of mine, playing the fighting simulation more intensely than I do it nowadays. I have never liked VF4, for I ever thought, and still think today, that it's by far not that good as it is said it would be; by far not.

But watching these clips brings warm feelings to my heart, and makes my fingers cribble again, to face another encounter in VF3. As VF3 Aoi player, I always thought, that AM-2 has conserved a real combative situation packed as good playable fighting game, namely VF3. To hell with all the 3d-button-smash fighting games like the Soul Calibur, Dead Or Alive, or Tekken series.

I always wanted to create a completely new and highly professional VF3 page, with lots of stuff, videos, techniques descriptions in it. But somehow, I hadn't find the necessary hours for working out the real rough texts, thought the layout is almost finished. I still need permission to publish such a site from AM-2, so stay tuned...

    Thanks again for those memories,

    Jacky

I really wouldn't worry about AM2's permission. Sites like this one and others operate without difficulty on their own. Just get the site up and running!
