I'm going with Ragna and Rachel/Jin. Ragna makes the most sense to me. I love his rush down game. This entire weekend I'm just going to focus on Ragna. Thanks to Quash AKA "The White" Barry White, for the tips.

Looks like he thinks the game is pants and he's envious of Europe cause it shouldn't have been released in US.

It's because the game can be very match up based and lopsided, similar to SF. It's still more fun than SF for the most part though.

You think so Gl0ry? I mean this game is pretty unbalanced although its not a So-Called Button masher.

I definitely think its match up based. Fight arakune using ragna and you'll understand.

nah, this game is pretty well balanced, especially for a first try.

it's definitely not perfect (bang install runaway against hakumen comes to mind) but it's not unbalanced and certainly not a masher.

AHHH a first try quash what happens when your exposed. Well if Bang can run way from Hakumen with no way to catch up then thats unbalanced to me along with character specific match ups being the key.

The button masher's I come across are Jin players and Noel players with random drive strings...

since you;re defending sf4 in this thread what about gief vs abel, abel vs seth for example.

Matchup issues are pretty much a given for most 2d fighters and it's a bit unfair to label BB is a sub par game because of it IMO. especially relatively early in the games development.

Actually according to top players Hakumen vs. Bang is a 5-5 matchup.

Really on a newer game where the tierlist and matchups are still changing this is a pointless discussion.

Were are not talking about tier lists GT. We're just talking about what we see between these two.

Bullshit i used abel and i still have trouble against a Good zangief.Last i check iirc you use abel and i know you and me are 2 different players. As far as SF4 goes we may have different weaknesses against the Zan Man.Now as far as BB goes I never Said its a Sub par game because of matchups. To ME Its just a sub par game period end of discussion.

My point, gief rapes abel for free, a ridiculous matchup and my point. 2nd example was supposed to be gief vs seth, not abel vs seth that was a typo. Seth raoes gief for free.

Anyways, just found it odd youd critisize BB on the matchup stuff when the game you defended has the same problems.

I dont mind that you find BB sub par, i havent even played it yet. I do want to though, seems really interesting to me.

This. How the hell people are going to start shiting on BB when they haven't play the game more then a week, lol. The only one here who spend time with this game in VFDC is Quash and to some extent, Haunts. They been playing the game since November. I doubt people here know how to use the barrier system correctly yet. It takes time to learn certain match-ups in 2-D fighters, or fighters in general.

The game is new to most but has been out for at least half a year in the arcades.

SDS_Overfiend is just giving his opinion on the game, like everyone else. Just don't take it too personal or it becomes like the SF IV Impression Thread

Agreed... I'm really not seeing what your guys' problem with BB is. I think the game is great and it's way too new to say much in the way of tier lists. I think this game is much, much more fun than SF4. More balanced as well.

@Akai- I'm pretty sure the console version is not exactly the same as the arcade version...

If the game is way too new to discuss the tier list then the game is also too fresh to say that it's balanced, especially when you compare the balance to another game that's been out much longer

Ok- i see that. I guess what I like more about BB is that it is new and the characters arent rehashes of old guys like SF4. Plus I dont see a Sagat analog in BB where he just has an edge in almost every match up. BB doesnt seem quite as match-up based either. I dont like SF4 at all really though so im biased.
