Naw, Lan Di is like lau on a bad year with a violent streak. He didn't even need to use his hands to wipe the floor with Ryo's dad.

 

Yeah Lan Di is one BAD SOB ! You just got me thinking ! If they ever do cross him over wouldn't be SICK if he had the hands behind the back thing as a stance where he only uses kicks and special sways and pressing guard would get you back into normal stance. Now how stylish is that, even more so than Lee Chaolans hitman stance imo. Add some Akira type counters and a new outfit and BAM ! Fighting game bad guy hall of fame.

There's so many things they can do with him, with some imagination they can make him totally different or even better than Lau. As long as they don't give him I'm straight.

You're probably one of those guys who wish Lau had reversals huh /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif? That would be too much ownage...but the stance it pretty cool.

 

Lau just needs a couple nice Sabaki moves and his PPP combos toned a bit.

 

And friggen Dural isn't? Dural is lame and played out..imho, and overpowered...if we are getting a character that is obviously just better in every reguard, at least it could be baddass while doing it /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think you are talking about Guizhang Chen. He fights in Yan Qing Kung Fu (Northern Praying Mnntis) which is similar to Lion's Mantis Style.

yeesh, you guys make sabakis and reversals sound all useful and powerful and shit. Lau'd be the same guy with sabakis and reversals, maybe 1% more powerful. How many sabakis and reversals did minami use to win the tournament with Akira?

 

Not nessisairly...give him a rediculous one like Lei-fei's..better yet, make his ppp strings sabaki almost everything

 

Reversals probably won't make him extremly powerful but he's such a pain in the ass already. I can't imagine playing a reversal freak using Lau. And they should get rid of . I can see my brothers face now /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Thats such a straightforward combo that receiving it outside of a juggle or an unescaped stagger means the player likely sucks hardcore.
So easily punished as well.
