Character you fear the most on offensive

Jacky and Lei-Fei

 

So far I dislike Lei-Feis on the offensive. I learned to manage by now by playing a lot of them and going through his moves in training. On the other hand, if I meet a really good one, who predicts that Im interrupting him with 2P or something along the line, Im pretty screwed.
And also good Gohs. That know to leep their distance and when to go for throws.

It is different offline to online for me, but assuming we are talking online where most games are being played, I would say Kage, Shun, Jacky, as their safe distance pokes and rapid wakeup strings are much harder to defended under lag conditions, giving them a huge throw window while you are still seeing guard hit on your screen, or allow those strings to force you backwards towards ringout. Their ability to keep a player downed in online also seems much stronger if lag is prominent.

Offline I would say I have most trouble defending and countering against Lau, Wolf or Lion

 

Lei Fei - I haven't really sat down and used him, and it shows when I'm facing a Lei Fei player. Combo that in with that I'm still a novice/beginner.

Shun - Same as Lei Fei.

Pai - Hi-Lo nightmare for me.

 

A much stronger player.

Though, character-wise it strangely fits in with the tiers, but this changes with who I'm using.

Man, in the right hands they are all fearful... I fear in this order:

Shun - That old drunk bastard is fast and elusive
Lei - Fast with a bunch of reversals, plus that's who I use so I know what he's capable of.
Lion - Lightning fast with good angle attacks
Akira - Powerful, with just enough speed to be flat out Vicious!

Same here. Lion is a headache.

Also the top El Blaze players won't even give you a change to get up with all their grappling.

 

The worst I find is Aoi, her deflections and stuff drive me right up the wall.

 

Vanessa give me lots of trouble on rushdown. Her mix up game is on bath salt.

 

The characters I fear most to meet in VF is

Feng Wei, Lei Wulong, Eddy Gordo , Savantes, NIght Mare, Helena, Baek, Kung Lao....

No just kidding , Actually its Eileen players! Although they don't actually cause fear, more like dread. I dread meeting Eileen players, because I know its gonna be a jump, flip, evade and kick fest (too much work)

Eileen for me. Akira, Pai, Lau, and Aoi are all annoyances as well.

 

That gun sound effect, you mean, the one that Thundernuts makes with 90% of his moves? Can you imagine living with the guy? I'm not even talking about the noise he'd make while training, so much as the mighty earthquake that would come from the guy jerking off.

 

Any character can technically be feared when on offensive but Lion has me tearing hair out on occasion. Generally the quicker the character's speed the more I fear them. Pai barely gives you time to think sometimes!

 

That one is easy. Lion I can't always tell whether he is standing or crouching.

For me it is definitely Lion and Shun, but mostly because of my inexperience in playing against them. They both move in ways that are foreign to me. I can't figure out where they are conceptually in terms of my high-lo game and they throw off my tempo and pacing, which is the most important thing in any fighting game.

Shun makes me think way too much to the point where I just freeze and Lion just rushes down so fast that I can't even react. They are my biggest fears and frustrations, but I plan on working on that.

 

For me it has to be Lei Fei, Akira and Kage.


Kage...... *shudders* Ain't seen anyone online who uses him and doesn't spam the crap out of him. Makes for upsetting games! =(
