Haven't been to CF in two weeks, for the sake of my wallet. I will, however, be there on Monday, trying to at least get in some VF before the snow comes and forces me into the house.

Usually, though, I'm there on Fridays playing Aoi.

We had over 12 people playing yesterday. /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
Awesome matchups. I spent most of the time just watching it all. It was great to see the twins in action again. Now I can tell them apart, heh heh /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Oh yeah, Shao Long Pao is the bomb! /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif Too good. I think a tradition has started.

Hey guys,

Friday night was awesome! Thanks again for everyone coming up... Post one note and then there must have been more than a dozen players there - I've never seen so many people in line to play VF in my life! I only got to play twice the whole time I was there... Saw a handful of new faces all of whom are quite good at the game... I've actually gotten used to the joysticks too, it's such a good setup...

I really hope I get that job by NYC once I graduate I'll stop by every weekend for sure... The atmosphere and stiff competition makes me think it's the place to play Evo... The crowd was getting into the interesting matches, and all the people there would play as different characters with different styles... quite an experience...

Yea it was a great time! There were a TON of people there, all watching the game and getting into the really close matches.

I think the collective level of play there keeps getting higher and higher. Its not like you just have to look out for the famous posters here on VFDC, there were like 12 people there all willing and able to kick your ass and make you get at the end of the huge line.

I was thinking next time super and I go not to tell anyone so we actually get a chance to play. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Man you guys have an awesome setup there. Everyone is always nice and friendly and gives you a big welcome.

Hopefully next time we'll get to stay a lot longer. For those of you not there my dad (who drove me to the interview) was hanging out at CTF. Since he had to work today he wanted out by 9:00, and I couldn't really say no to that. Next time though we'll stay a lot longer, it's always hard leaving that place with so many nice people and such great competition.

Anyways all good matches, it was a shame Rodney and Nelson weren't there. Can't wait to stop by again during our spring break, I'll see ya all later!

yeah. I was there like 3 o'clock and there was nobody there. when it was about 6 i was gonna leave and then people started showing up! I only got to play twice but it was fun none the less. Hope it happens more often cya guys!!!

Hey all!

Rich and I are planning on heading to Chinatown at some point this weekend (hopefully Friday) to get our PS2 modded to play Evo - does anybody know of a good place by CTF to get it modded?

And of course, we're going to stop by CTF... Should be able to stay longer this time - hopefully we can get as good of a turnout as we did last time!

As far as I know, this one is the only store for providing mod-chip service. It's located only a few blocks away from CT's video arcade.
