The last Super-Hero-y series I've read was Nextwave: Agents of HATE. I loved it. I'd want to see it as a movie.

Other than that I've always been a fan of Harvey Pekar's work.

My main gripe with WWH is that it would be good in the same way that A Chuck Norrris / Steve Segal movie can be good with beer and friends. Except that that doesn't work very well with comics.

Right now I am reading a lot of books
    Dare Devil
    Immortal Iron Fist
    The Phantom
    Anything with Gambit
    Anything with Lobo
    The New avengers
    JLA
    Walking Dead
    The Spirit
    and a few more...

I think Ed Brubakers run on DD has been amazing. I all also enjoy his and Matt Factions take on Iron Fist, the art by Aja is beautiful.

Walking Dead has finally picked up steam - I was looking for the book to end about 20 issues ago. It will be interesting to see where it goes now. Still, I hope kirkman doesn't drag it out any more than he already has.

Think he said he wants to write Walking Dead for 10 more years if he could.

Fairly new comic reader. Got into Green Lantern, JSA, and Black Adam from JSA. Got my GF into Green Arrow and BoP.

Arstal, you've made some excellent choices in regards to comics. Geoff Johns is fantastic with the JSA and if you can get hold of Green Arrow: Year One then you won't be disappointed.

But isn't that Judd Winick? I learned very quickly why he's hated. He made Kyle unreadable. Then again, so did Countdown.

Green Arrow: Year One was written by Andy Diggle. It's superb! The whole Kyle thing still p*sses me off! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif

I know next to nothing about DC but check out Thunderbolts, Criminal, Captain America, Immortal Iron Fist from Marvel. Awesomeness allround.

Most of his stuff falls into the same tired patern, so if you haven't read anything from him he isn't that terrible. The bad news is that (IMHO) Green Lanter, or at least the Sinestro Cops War, is the best Spandex clad comic book coming out right now, so you can only go down from there :p

Yeah. Giving Salvation Run a Chance now, see if that's good. Will read it at tourney Saturday.

No shit Cuz--I can't believe how good Sinestro Corps is. Sinestro has been my favorite villan for DC for a long time, and I was really nervous that this series would stink. It's been pretty good. I just want to see where it will end!

I think everyone needs to check out Booster Gold's new ongoing series. Has been awesome so far.

If Salvation run isn't good I'll pick up Booster Gold again. I enjoyed it so far though, at least him outwitting Sinestro.

It looks like GL will have a good follow-up as well after SC.
