hi, I'm new to this site. I played VF since the first one, and I really like this game, but it is kind of boring to play this game alone. It is really been a while since I played VF with other players.
so if there are any VF gatherings or anything around boston area or anyone wanna play with me let me know. I live in Cambridge MA.

 

I don't know if anyone PMed you or not. The best thing you should do is to contact Shang and ask when he will have a playing session at his place. Most likely there will be another weekend VF session this coming weekend at his place (Which is in Brookline) I can't come this weekend but I think he should be able to accomadate you.

Alternatively, if you have a nice setup you can invite people to play at your place.

I was at Goodtimes by chance last night with friends and while there figured I'd see how the ver b was doing...

Well, it's still there and it's 75 to start (wtf? lol) but anyway I actually met a new guy and caught up with an old face! (remember kevin shang?)

Ken - This rather large fellow threw his money in against me and showed some competent moves with Akira. When asked if he played he replied "oh I don't really have anyone to play this game with at home - at home I have evo"

Kevin - This is an old buddy Akira player of mine from back in the vf2/3 days (strong player) he's been playing 3rd Strike these days, but we chatted and he seemed interested in playing VF with us again.

So there, totally unexpected I caught up and met with potential players for Boston! Hopefully they'll get in contact with us for some games.

I have to go to Boston within the next couple weeks to take care of something at school- and it'd be a shame to head up without any VF
