I think Pai and Sarah have the most sex appeal of all the girls. Aoi is too kawaii and pure to be in a DOA game as is. Eileen. . . is underage. Not that Japanese care about that kinda stuff. . .

BTW I think Brad being in the game is perfect for his character. He was almost made to be in a DOA game, personality and all.

When I first saw the list it took me about ten minutes to realise DoA already had a character called Brad.

Unfortunately, in his current State, Bass can't even take a shit without falling face-first in the toilet. Jeff would make short work of him.

I would have to think they added Sarah is because if I have heard this correctly (don't remember where), she is the most recognizable female character in the series with Akira being the most recognizable male.

Great choice in VF characters. Wouldn't mind if Jacky was added to the roster.

Played the DOA5 demo yesterday. All I can say is that it is fun and VERY VISCERAL! The characters and stages feels very cohesive. Often times in fighting games, characters feels like pasted onto a stage and have little interaction. In the DOA5 demo, everything felt so alive like a Jackie Chan movie.

No joke. He went from one of the best characters in 3 to one of the worst characters in 4. And you know what Ninja Dog's excuse was for taking a shit down his neck? "A wrestler shouldn't be able to beat a ninja".

So every time he tries to 41236 a toilet seat out of frustration, Bass slips and lands face-first into the toilet seat, resulting in a Hi-Counter defensive hold by the toilet. Due to the ridiculous amount of damage from the hold, he is instantly KOed.

Well good to know haha. I was going to use Akira anyways but do you think bass will improve in DOA5 or still be at toilet tier? I like big men and wish to use him as my secondary.

Air-throw requirements are half fixed, so that already improves his game by a large margin. He's a grappler, so that would give him a standard 4frame throw, which was fixed in DOA5a thanks to Shimbori actually giving a shit and listening to players. His 9K is back in DOAD, which is nice. Not sure about his old 6PK. The 3_PP string needs to be removed. It's a really shit string that has little to no use, even in casual games. Stun Gun chop needs to be a 2-hit string rather that the old 3, so that it actually becomes useful. His charge throw has little to no use and makes it harder to pull off his 41236. He's a slow character. He needs fast holds. There is no need to make his holds slow. He needs his old DOA3 4G/H+P grab back to give him some more options.

Besically, Bass is supposed to be a character that would instil fear in you, because if you make a mistake, you end up losing half your life. This was less the case with DOA4 Bass where he was just screwed over.

If they fail to fix Bass, I'll have to rely on Leon instead, since he's usually a fairly solid character, though he's not that interesting.

I Just saw the list, no Goh, Vanessa or Aoi guess I'll just stick with Hitomi and Ein (if he makes it in) or I might use Akira if he plays like Ein.

Eh, I'm just a guy who knows too much about bad games.

DOA's hella easy to get into since it's just a poor man's VF, so once you find your character, you just need to mess around with it for a bit till you get comfortable.

I actually wanted to see Lau or Goh as guest characters, but no, TN just had to pick the most advance character.

I wasn't aware that Hayabusa was hated among DoA players. I'm guessing it's the whole cheap-overpowered-whine-whine kind of hate? If so, who cares?

In what twisted Universe? Akira's presence and SEGA's involvement certainly give the game credibility, and it's clear that Team Ninja is trying to mend old wounds from past mistakes, but it's highly doubtful that anything within the new title will be nearly as finely tuned as Final Showdown, though it's not lost on me that you were at least half-joking, there.

He'll probably play more like Akira.
