Im surprised Sorwah didn't have you change SS. Thats the first thing everyone has been drilling into peoples heads lol. It can be changed to H-P-K. You do this because DOA has FSD but it is also a 3 button setup like VF.

 

Dude, it's not like the entire VF cast is in it, save for Goh. You could equally whine about any other character's absence. I'd like my main to be in there, too, but they went with the female characters plus the posterboy from the first game. Kage or not, I'm excited about it.

 

the 22/88 ss doesn't affect me at all. in fact i perfer it. changing it to 2/8hpk makes it feel more like an offensive step and feels very clunky for me to use. especially since i'm a pad warrior.

 

you change it so you can you FSD"free step dodge". In DOA5 you can use SS and FSD. With good timing a FSD can be use to step 180 around the opponent. This way you can have an input for SS and FSD

 

I know how to use both systems. I don't need to change my configuration around like I mentioned.

 

you cant use both system with the 22/88 setup, unless your hold to free step around, but to do a 180FSD you need to hit 9,8 or 3,2, DOA5 sometimes reads this as read this as a SS. You can use whatever setup you want, but to play at a high lev you will need to use both effectively.

 

Having played the build Hubbs is talking about, I actually prefer the 2PKG/8PKG method of sidestepping. I wouldn't want to do a move that calls for a 11 or 33 and accidentally get 22 by mistake.

 

Don't get me wrong the game looks superb, but it just really sucks they can't put someone else in there I mean surely Goh could have a place in the game.

 

i think Sega are the ones who choose the 3. So with that you know there poster boy will be in it, and its a game mostly about girls so the top 2 most popular girls have to be chosen as well lol. I would of loved to see Aoi,Kage,Goh or even Vanessa. They would fit a whole lot better

 

yes I can use both systems effectively with the 22/88 side step. its what people feel works for them. it works for me, it doesn't for blackula. I can fsd without having to tap hold.

I think the're going on with characters that was in all VF games...
and I heard somewhere that Goh and Brad was Harada's contribution in VF4Evo for the Ranking System in Tekken 5 is the same as the Kumite in vanilla VF4...

I was talking to a friend and he read somewhere that the character announced are: Akira, Sarah, Pai and Shun di.

 

Shun isn't in. Trust me on this one.
