I'm not trying to disturb anyone; I am honestly surprised that anyone can seriously enjoy that song. But then again, I'm guessing you guys like Rap on a general basis and would thus be more accepting to... that.

 

Actually I'm more into reggae and calypso since I'm a islander and didn't grow up on rap. Sure I listen to rap / hip hop, but it's not my music of choice.

And yeah it's a public forum and we can post whatever we want so I'm gonna post what I think of you.

For whatever reason, the word that comes to mind when I hear the track is, "swagger."

Whoops, back on topic. DOA. Yes. Finally unlocked Pai, today. It took me long enough.
I think I'm gonna concentrate on learning Ayane, but who knows if she or Hayate will win out as my returning main.

 

So after spending more time with the game I'm starting to see that Pai is actually a lot stronger than I thought. THe 434343 while guarding is leet for her and all VF chars like GT said. They just float across the screen. Also her has all the moves she needs to create critical stun from every type of move and she's fairly fast compared to the rest of the cast. I dare say I think she has the fastest moves in the game. 6P, 2K+G, 1K+G, 6KP, 3KP, all great moves

 

I was told by someone that the VF characters seemed "broken" i use Sarah 100% of the time in online matches and one guy commented to me that i'm an actually a good Sarah player (even though my current win ration is between i think 30%-35%) I still manage to do well in some matches.

By the way for all the trophy/achievement hunters out there, I had heard u only need to unlock Alpha-152 to get that trophy/achievement where everyone thought it would require ALL TITLES (including WIN 3,000 ONLINE MATCHES WITH EACH CHARACTER)

Also I think DLC is coming for the game starting THIS TUESDAY!
IF we do get more costumes for the characters I hope to see more the VF characters (especially Sarah) would love to see her 2P VF4 costume and C costume from VF5.

 

To unlock Alpha, you don't need to unlock all the titles. You just need 300 of them.

 

So your skill with Sarah translates well to DOA5?

Is it like the difference between characters in SSFIV AE and SFxT? As in, yeah, it's Guile, but you can't play it the same way due to the the game and properties of the moves are different. (Assuming I'm not answering my own question)

 

I'd say it's more like the switch from SFIV AE --> Marvel 3 for ryu/chun/viper. I won't go as far to say the VF chars are broken, tho if enough VF players start figuring out how to use them I think they might get banned. Who knows. After I kinda got a handle on the game with Helena, pai started to become a beast in my hands. Basically you just need to learn what the different attack types you have to lead to critical stuns, and then just learn what moves you have that can keep someone in stun using the different levels too. After that it's just spacing and yomi.

 

yeah i still have not got SF X T (waiting for the Vita version) and I already know it takes 300 title to unlock Alpha-152, i was trying to say u only need 300 TITLES to ALSO get the achievement/trophy, NOT ALL OF THE TITLES as some people feared when trying to 100% the game's trophy/achievement list.

I get 3rd because I'm terrible and have no idea what's happening : D. In early games, it's whoever gets their nonsense off that the other guy doesn't understand first wins. I have no idea how to do holds : (.

I finally got to play a lil bit and its the same shit from before plus a few new game stablizing things.. Good shit for a newbie GT but that backdash shit is a gamebreaker lol!!!..You need a haircut tho.. you looking like Urien.. the game is alright but i think Jann Lee and the VF'ers are the strongest..the way it should be.. One last thing.. Is it me or does the virtua fighter characters limbs loook more natural attacking than the DOA characters?
