Damn, I was just about to buy part 5 because I saw on their forum that the S tier was composed of 4 girls, including Christie and Sarah, whom I would both use. Unsure how to progress now

Bahahahahahahahahahaha, garghhh my sides are killing me ...phew.

Sorry for the laughter but is that their idea of a revision update? Add more costumes to a game they already attempted to charge people hundreds of pounds for outfits that were on the disc we bought at retail? o_O

No attempt to fix the system mechanics that have divided the community, just more revealing costumes and mass slabs of computer generated titty meat. GG Team Ninja :applauds:

I am assuming they'll have an updated system, but who knows, the patches made me quit playing this POS.

Yeah, you would assume so ...their press release mentions nothing of the sort though. Considering how negatively DoA5 was recieved by most fans you'd think it'd be a priority but nah.

    DOA5U is coming in November?

I'm sure (I'm hoping) in that amount of time they can do more than add in a few characters, 1 stage, and more outfits.

Tighten up the system, fix that god awful net code, etc etc...

Still, if it's more than 20 bones, I ain't biting until there's some major sale somewhere...

Maybe by the time DOA5U is released the DOA players will have learned how to crouch block, so they wont need to nerf characters tools into 50 frame moves

Team Ninja released absolutely no information on whether or not there will be tweaks to the system besides the "Power Launcher", which is probably just a move that launches on max height regardless of Stun Threshold or NH/CH/HCH. It's also shown that they've possibly implemented a Bound system (a la Tekken) when Kasumi performed what seemed to be a new variant of her [6][6][K] as soon as the Buddha appeared. But no one will ever know what they'll do to attempt to fix the game until E3 comes around, so no point in placing official judgment before then.

And besides. Leon's back with a high possibility of Ein following. So I'm getting excited :V

For those judging way too quick off of ONE video............................... when's Marvel?

Did you really expect them to mention EVERYTHING in just one video?

Is the "EVERYTHING" meant to suggest they'll add more to the game than extra tits?

I remember when DoA5 was first announced and we were apparently too quick to judge then, look at how that turned out....

How it turned out depends on who you ask. Not everyone looks at the game as negatively as you do. And likewise not everyone looks at the game as positively as I do.

But based on everything I've seen from your posts in anything DOA related, it just sounds like you already had your mind made up about the game already that no matter what Team Ninja does, you are absolutely determined to just hate this series. There are others here who I feel have responded similarly. At least that's the feeling I'm getting. If this isn't the case, then please let me know otherwise.

I look how DOA5 turned out and I see a solid game second only to VF5FS
Room for improvement still but it's a great game

There will very likely be more than one stage and a couple of characters. I estimate they will ad 5-6 characters, and a similar number of stages, as well as new cut-scenes for the story mode maybe some more proper customization along with the inevitable extra costumes, as well as the usual gameplay tweaks.

Stages will hopefully include the classics like Dragon Hills, Lorelei, L's Castle, the waterfall gardens and the forest.

I suspect they will add a story cut-scene for Pai Chan, who lacked one in vanilla DOA5.

As well as Momiji and Leon (and probably Ein and Tengu), I am hoping Lau and Jacky will be added to the roster (who hasn't wished they could team up Pai/Lau and Sarah/Jacky for tag battle fun?) Let's not forget that Hayashi is very keen on Ryo Hazuki from Shenmue being a guest character.

So they are putting Bounds in ala VF5?

I hate bounds. Worst addition to fighting game since, like, ever.

Otherwise DOA5 is enjoyable if a little bit sleazy in a weirdly Japanese kind of way. Don't think I could see myself actually trying to learn it though.

Ein!!! I used to love using him in DoA2 because his animations looked great. I'm probably going to get sucked into buying DoA5U when more and more trailers come out.... :D Momoji looks interesting... although at the moment, she looks like a cross between Ryu and Kasumi.

Ein was awesome. I was so pissed of when they dumped him and gave his style to Hitomi. She's a little girl and she looks ridiculous doing those moves. Ein was badass.
