    Sarah is super powered up in DOA and turtling is way less annoying in DOA vs FS. Fairly easy to deal with and nerf out shitty play styles in the DOA system with the methods 001 described.

    Just a minor tip regarding Sarah. Her P+K beats both rising attacks and leaves you with advantage. From there you should mix up your game a bit. I usually alternate between the following.

    1) P2KKK, 1KK, 6KK
    2) 1P+K, 41236 throw
    3) 6K+G mid kick launcher

    Low wakeup always blows up my P+K, so is there a special timing to it? is it not really an option select (where instead of hitting P+K and it magically beats both options, I still have to guess the timing, and thus, guess which attack they are gonna wake up off the ground with)? Or am I just bad with it?

    I could be wrong about beating lows? It loses to mids if the timing is off. I`m maybe just lucky since most of the time I beat everything?

    I`m not sure there`s a way to set up rising attacks in the training mode? It appears to me you can beat lows the same way you can in VF5 FS with 9K+G KK and 8 K+G

    Her 8K+G/H+K destroys low wake ups and got a serious buff from what I remember. To busy trying to relearn nerfed Mila and learning Rachel and Momiji to mess with DOA Super Sarah atm.

    Is Sarah still good, I saw in some thread on fsd people were complaining that they nerfed her, but people were complaining that they nerfed everybody (in every revision of every fighting game ever).

    I am so bad at this game, ug, I should just play VF. Things would be easier on me if I just decide on a main, but I'm lousy with the characters I like, and not good enough with the others...also, why do all four of Momiji's outfits have high heels, come on she's a ninja, geeze.

    yes they nerfed sarah. but shes still a powerhouse overall( as in still high tier) momiji has heels on all for outfits because team ninja.

    I was reading that they found a "blender" with Milia and Ayane, similar to the thing Rachel has, just not as powerful. Rachel seems to be pissing people off, it's still early though.

    I know her 'stomp on you' attack annoys me, not because its OP (I wouldn't know if it is or not), but because it has a long, annoying animation. It's like, I get it, you hit down and kick while I was on the ground, do you want a trophy.

    Wakeup kicks are blockable on reaction like in VF. : )

    Rachel's stomp gives her advantage I believe, besides it being really badass and disrespectful :cool:

    Rachel's stomp is +15 on hit, if you tech away when landing on the ground since you have no hurt box when teching away, it's at most +11 on whiff.

    I'm not sure about Mila or Ayane's "blender", but I'd think Mila would have a similar option select as Bass. If he doesn't hard knock you down, he can go for his 2H+P pickup, if you didn't tech then he gets his ground throw and +13 after it, and if you do tech then he's +7 or +8 since you're still teching after his low throw animation whiffs.

    I saw the +15 in dojo and lol'd, I hope all the crying doesn't result in more nerfs. Just tell the FSD mofos to deal with the Super Rachel and like it!

    Mila seems ok, doesn't appear to be one of the stronger characters, gotta put in work with her...

    Got the game on release day, GAME had 2 copies in and one was sold, so I got the last one.

    A note: I got myself an OG xbox back in the day because of DOA3. It looked so stylish...played about 10 hours and lost interest.

    I had about 50 hours on DOA5 vanilla. I played online when I had live and it was easy to play, fun.

    I kind of regret buying 5 ultimate. I hate the power launcher, it looks so stupid...in a game of ninja and crazy moves, power launchers stand out for being a) visually unappealing b) redundant. I cannot believe they could not offer this as a DLC...

    I like momiji design but so far I dont like her airborne game. I like racher fighting style more but her costumes are terrible. there is one where she looks like FF7 tifa and its somehow decent...the others are stupid. my new pet hate must be the nurse outfit...why? why a nurse outfit? she's got an OL outfit, a demon hunter one, a tifa one...wait, she must be a cosplayer right?

    Also, there is a combo training mode, where combos are ranked in difficulty....starting from level 2 going all the way to Akira lightweight combo, ranked 7. The combo is basically a critical stun followed by 2 knees, P, 2 knees, byakko. how creative. it's not that is hard to do, knees timing can be learned, but 4 knees in a combo? and you can really only knee because everything else either misses or not refloat.

    Hi guys. These latest days i was thinking about DOA5 and give it one day some try and see how it works. Today for my good luck i find the DOA5 Ultimate core fighters for free in store and i downloaded it. After a 1 or 2 hour of play i find DOA5 actually fun game with great graphics.About the gameplay the only thing that annoys me is the stun system. Ok you can counter it with reversals but these all crazy mix ups makes your life hard to counter it. I dont know if ill buy the full game but for the first day i had fun with it even if its the trial version.

    You' can slow escape some stuns, counter out of stuns, etc... You'll like the game more as you learn it properly sozos, it's a fun game to play.

    i did some of stun tutorials but im not familiar with it yet. But think of it, mix up with these all moves,strings makes your life really hard. the reversal system in doa5 is way harder to get succeed compare to the previous versions, but i must say that i prefer that instead to previous versions. :)

    Stun will make or break your enjoyment. It's not the worst thing, but after going back to some FS, DOA feels a tad slower because of it.

    Also, offering a move as DLC is a bad idea, as per Matteo's suggestion on Power Launcher.
