So Tricky what type of work do you do? Behavioral studies? Or you just throw placebos at people and say "do you feel better now"

None taken. I run clinical trials for new treatments in things like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and various types of traumatic brain injuries.

I also do a little work with the effect of these mental illnesses on the family members and caretakers, too.

Emx is right though, you could have easily googled Clinical Psychology and found out what it is specifically. It's a highly specialized field already, unless you actually know clinical psych, telling a layman any more would probably just confuse them.

Oh and I am currently applying to schools for my PhD in Clinical Psych.

P.S. nueropsychology is a tool used by Clinical Psychologists, so I actually do that too.

good to know I actually had some field work earlier about 2-3 years working as assistant for some psychologist I tend to crack lame jokes again I totally apologize here and there but honestly most the work I've done as an assistant was resarch and record data on Serotonin effects on the syndrome my boss at the time was writing a thesis paper for a grant about even using low amounts of SSRI Drugs in patients can cause hyperthermia and in her mind should be the primary thing you search for in Serotonin syndrome cases

I mostly get the concepts of the nuero end of psychology and being a research assistant pays and you minor under information studies if you get a chance makes searching for information less annoying

Myke what you should of typed was, "Holy richochet rabbling racket of a run-on Batman"

@ greiver punctation is for the weak WEAK and those who are grammar nazis

@ Noodalls yes that is true but according to the research at the time I saw several symptoms that correlated with Serotonin Syndrome which indicated in a pattern thanks for the link I'll read it on to work or send it to my former boss if she is still working on this topic

I smell a big fat troll. Anyone else?

Not using punctuation only makes an idea very unclear and kills credibility. Anyone who doesn't know when to use a period really lacks writing skills. . . or is in 1st grade.
