Does someone like KOF?

I also play KOF /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif maybe several times /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
but I favour STREET FIGHTER!!!!
It's the best series I ever played /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

 

I always like KOF better than SF cause of the characters.Their way cooler than those of SF specially Iory.Still I didnt get the story of KOF.Why does Kyo have so many clones?

After the Orochi battle in '97, the Nests cartel found some of Kyo's DNA, and they created clones of him to take over the world. That's how KOF99 goes.

 

Exactly what i wanted to know /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif K has quite a few clones too.I still havent found a way to playas Krizalyd tough /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

 

Yeah, you got to admit the series is pretty awsome. Now that I lost my KOF cartridge for my gameboy. I ugh, agh, ahhhhhhhhhhhh! I feel like apart of my body is missing. Oh well, at least KOF 2000 and 2001 are coming out on the PS2 this year. /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

 

Heard from Jap site, the 2001 for PS2's backgrounds are in 3D, that well be cool.
I have jap version of 2000, I like it, but there are so many strickers? /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif even Orochi, that just not fair.
and PS2 2000 's loading is quicker than DC.

GB: Kof 95, 96 very fine game to play! /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif I have both of them.
GBA: Kof EX is very but game I must say, I don't like it.
But Kof EX2 is very good, the new Iori team.
now I have only EX2, I sold EX last month.

I just got KOF EX (American version) for Game Boy Advance today. It was $13, and it was used. It didn't come with the box or instructions, but I don't care. I've been looking for it for a long time, and I have it now. It's like a pint sized KOF99. It's a lot of fun /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ogi, when you had KOF EX, did you think that the sound was unusually quiet? I have my GBA's volume set as loud as it can go, but I can barely hear it. I don't have this problem with some other GBA games, but I do know that a lot of GBA games are notoriously quiet.

BTW, I'm using a regular GBA, not an SP.

I'll also get KOF EX2 if I ever find it in English. I'd like to understand what's going on.

Anyway, I just tried KOFEX again a few minutes ago, and although it wasn't very loud, it wasn't as quiet as it was last time I played it. Maybe it just needed to be played a little bit. I don't know. Still, I could use some input from people who have played it.

I actually saw one American KOFEX2 on Ebay a few days ago, but I can't find any information on it elsewhere. Last I heard, it was cancelled. Maybe I can import a European version of EX2.

 

I had no probleem play EX on my GBA.
maybe is the cardrige? I mean maybe is broken some where inside.(just by a newone /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif, I am tesing.)

ja,You can buy EX2 in Eu every where. It's about 40-45£á, I think. But I have jap version.

that's great!!!!
I can say that 95 is better than 2002,(not gameplay), the music and the stage are great and fun to played it again.
Sature version is much better than PS version.

Now, only 94 to go!

 

I am a huge fan of capcom and snk games. My forite Snk character is Robert Garcia. he is the best. i ahve all the KOF games for dream cast. but the past year and a half i have not been playing 2D fighting games anymore. i am more into VF, Tekken, and DOA now. Since my true passion is martial arts i like to play video games with realistic martial arts in it.

 

I love KOF dont play it as much as i used to tho (thanx to VF /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

'95 is my fav, then '98, then all the others. Except '99 and '00 dont like strikers and didnt like the fact Goro wasnt in it /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif.

Its all about picking Goro, Clark and Blue Mary for me in '98.

But man there was so many characters you could go on forever in making teams.

are you sure thats KOF2k3, because that looks and plays definately like 2k2, plus 2k3 was announced for atomis wave, which should have improved graphics
