Lol is this really the criteria to being dutch? You said it yourself people only get like this around football championships, forgive me for not giving a crap about it. And no I really don't understand the culture but the colors of my passports (multiple yes) have nothing to do with it. You think I give a crap about Tunesian football?

Besides dudes was acting like they had it in the bag, they really did need a reality check.

 

Italia displayed a master class of defense. What a flawless team in that respect. Spain did nothing, they couldn't. Too bad our attack wasn't as bright as the defense. I knew Di Natale wasn't the right option either as a replacement or for the penalty kicks.

88 years without losing to Spain. That can mean only one thing: they'll end up winning this cup. And as our close cousins I hope they do. Ole!

 

You never know. Look at Greece in 2004. No-one gave them a chance against Portugal and their game plan in the final completely shut their opponents down.

Anyone believing that England deserved to be in this tournament needs to get their head checked. All of the England international team are horrendously overpaid and seem to care less about the game and more about their next extravagance. I'd rather have seen any of the other home nations go through. I do have faith in Capello though. Hopefully he can somewhat sort them out.

Back on-topic, I'm also surprised that Turkey beat Croatia. I'm now backing a Germany/Russia final, with Germany winning in the end. I don't think Turkey can beat the Germans (despite how much my friend Fuat claims), and I can see Russia performing another upset against Spain, but I doubt they'll pull off a final one against Germany.

My predictions:

SF2: Russia 1 Spain 0
3RD: Turkey 1 Spain 2
FIN: Germany 2 Russia 0

Spain beats Turkey and wins the Cup.

I hope to christ that Turkey go out.

My boss is Turkish and he's been really stuck up about his team since the competition began.

If they win hey may infact dissapear up his own arse.

Ballack, Bastian(The man)and Miroslav Klose. Need to play like they're a Team. This Turkey team is riding on a good wave of momentum. And other teams didn't bother taking notice on basic Football fundamentals on keeping focus no matter who's your opponent. Germany better not take this Team lightly, if they do; IS A WRAP.
