Nice work.

That Standing Palm, low punch, Yoho, Double Palm

combo is very serious.

I never been able to get that combo work, but it

looks hella cool.

But I have one question to the Akira experts out there.
The Standing Palm, low punch, Yoho, Double Palm combo, I can only get it to work on Sarah. I have tried it on Pai, Aoi,Lion,Shun,Vanessa and I never seem to be able to connect the last Double Palm. Dose this combo ONLY work on Sarah ?

It's a stance combo. Make sure you're in open stance..

Yeah I know its open stance, but I still can’t get the double palm to connect. The timing seems different on the other characters compared to Sarah. Well maybe it’s just my imagination, I’ll better go back to practice again.

When you do the combo, how do you get yoho hit after

the low punch? Do I have to dash slightly?



BTW, I've seen another video doing the combo, and

it was on Sarah,too. I am not sure it is only on Sarah

, but if it is, that's kinda weird.

Speaking of weird thing, when I try , after

+, + catch throw on Sarah, ,

seems never hit. Does anyone see the same thing?

As I know, it is garanteed for the other characters.

as stated before the combo must be done in open stance (akira's chest facing the screen when he is on the left side of the screen), to land the yoho, you must tap d+P and not hold down at all, and then make sure you hit df+P at the same time with yoho, as i believe df,df,P will produce another low punch

for the pull in throw question, make sure you hold forward before doing P,K (on anyone.. this sarah thing may be some kind of weird stance thing)

so the input has to be
++ -> + -> +,

start holding forward before you hit P+K.. this will make sure you don't do a mid punch

I got it now why P,K didn't hit. On the other characters,

P,K hits without holding down forward, so I thought

Sarah is a kind of weird exception.


BTW, From what you said, Yoho after down punch is

done by down punch(without holding down, that

means put the lever nuetral quickly after the down

punch, I guess), and then do the down forward punch

quickly. Did I get it right?

 

The yoho is done like this -

Tap +
Quickly tap
Quickly tap and HOLD
After a tiny split second press while holding .

Since the opponent is low to the ground, you will need to do a good, tight m-dbpm.

I finally made Standing Palm-Low punch-Yoho-

Double palm combo. The situation is very selective(

Weight and Stance dependant), but it looks so cool

and does a lot of damage.(about 76?)
