I have already checked with the AMK Funland manager. He says even the main office has no idea when Evo will arrive. Maybe I will go pester him again soon.

 

Which arcades are the main hangouts nowadays?

Nods, only been to Bugis on one weekday evening and it was pretty dead.

 

Nowadays, its kinda like a hit and miss thing. If there's gonna be people, there'll be.... just that nowadays, when we see nobody, we go off.....

Eh, guys, I seriously think we should migrate to that Console Cafe place. Either Burlington, or that Big O one ? I mean, we spent like over $100 in total just yesterday alone..... Cheaper to play on the console for like $4-5 an hour you know.....

Thoughts ?

 

my friend's shop don't rent ps2 one lehz. it's for his own leisure so forget abt $4 - $5 thing......

 

I'm not talking about your friend's place. I'm talking about the Console Rental store inside Burlington, which is next to Sim Lim Square. If I remember correctly, the rental rate is about $4-6 an hour or so. Gotta go check again though.

So what do you guys think ? Its about a 5-10 min walk from Bugis Junction. Your friend should expand also mah... Rent to us can liao. You should ask him to consider you know. /versus/images/icons/tongue.gif

 

This place in Burlington (never heard of it) rents consoles only? Or does it provide the games and sticks and such?

 

Well, from the brief moment I walked in and had a look, they seem to have consoles only, but I saw only PS2s and X-Boxes. They have stuff like Driving Controls for Grand Turismo, so I presumed that they would also rent the Arcade Sticks as well. (Not sure if they'll charge more though.... /versus/images/icons/frown.gif )

Burlington is next to Sim Lim Square. Its the building where they sell Handphones and stuff, right next to the Fountain with the black tiles.
