Quite honestly FF is a slow paced game to begin with and whether the game is 17% slower or not is not noticeable until mentioned. Any slow game can get away with being 50hzt. Fast games like racing and fighting NEEDS to be at full speed. Tekken Tag for instance. Great game but is too slow for PAL and theres no 60hzt option. Shame too.

Main point. it don't bother me when a slow game is on 50hzt.

    hell i dis a gree!
to anyone who is serious about games or even film, its all about playing/watching it at the correct speed!!!
take film for example, over here in the UK Pal dvds are speed up 4% so that the 24frames per sec films "fit" in to the Pal 25frames per sec format
4% sounds like a minor but anyone whos had decks will know that 4% is a lot audio wise, so films that reliy on music a lot sound high in pitch, and its also a misconception that all UK films on vhs/dvd are cut when in realty as its speed up you can see a 105min film in 100min on Pal, so thats just 4%
the 17.5% speed loss on Pal games is a joke!!!
you also get 100more blank lines to look at aswell!!! (50top, 50 bottom black borders)
so ure even viewing the game incorrctly
basicly, all games can run in 60hz, like the man said, its just the bootup han shake that tell is to do 50 or 60
also if the game has chip based music, that plays 17.5% slower (and crapyer!)
its a shame that sony didnt let psynosis release wipeout 1 back in the day with a 50/60hz option (they wanted to) it would of set the trend!

also what with the pirating of "Random"???

Obviously ur name comes from a game. Mine comes from ppl observing my play. In the last few trnys ppl have told me I don't have a certain way of fighting and that it's random ( I like to call it controlled randomness but nvm bout that) . Also in IRC I'm known as R-Silver since I can't fit the whole name due to server settings. Dat and few others say the R as Random, some say raging. it's up to them. So theres the story. If it bothers u then I'll change it back to the original.

haha, i also hav been called "random" in a style of play (but i dont think anyone can play randomly unless u bash buttons)
but i took the name way back in 97 as the done thing then was a cyberpunkish name
anyways keep the name if u like people "naming" you
hell if u want i can pass on other sudgestion for names for you, "tap throw" comes to mind. hell i'll i could name everyone at team norbury and uramatchi
    soon we'll see a Columbo-nobody name
    hell even a chibita-someone
prob summing to do with their style of play i guess
