BTW, does anyone know if Sanman's Half-Circle backwards /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif into Half Circle backwards (a second time) /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif has an ender and how you do it? The only FAQ I've found didn't know about this throw sequence at all (I found out the second hit myself).

This is the move where he gives them a few "auto-throws" similar to King's throw combos in Tekken...anyway, when he's finished the second hit he just leaves them on the floor and it definitely looks as though he's supposed to pick them back up and do something[/i,] but trying to find out how to do what might not exist is not something I particularly enjoy /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

 

I think you mean his 63214p+g into 42236p+g (half circle forwards). I don't know if you can follow it up myself.

It'd be worth Sega giving this game a new lease of life as a downloadable XBOX 360 game (obviously with an online mode) to encourage everyone to take it seriously again! MILES better than most of the games developers decide to re-release on there...

I wonder how many serious players of FV2 there are out there? I doubt there are many in the UK as the game was probably the most limited release EVER - both in the arcades and on the DC. I'm just glad Sega had the presence of mind to actually release it over here, unlike those poor chuffs in the US!

At the time I KNEW no-one would actually buy it and I was very surprised Sega Europe went with it. Surprised, but glad!

 

The site she got it from was this one. However, it only has Grace, Bahn and Raxel. Candy/Honey is up there, but the FV2 artwork of her isn't there.

The official Japanese site had the artwork of them all, but that's down right now (and probably never will return), which really doesn't help matters. I'm trying to find my backup of FV2 to see if I can get the images from there, as they appear in the credits.

The coolest image is still the one of all the cast together.

Sanman has two different types of throw combo. The Bearhug ones have pretty lax timing, but some of the Overdrive ones are pretty strict, namely the Fling-Up Flapjack (not the followups though) and Final Overdrive moves which usually require button press just as the opponent hits the ground. Also, the 360 Final Overdrive moves seem to require all 9 directional inputs or it won't work.

All of the below combos do work, even the Overdrive -> Full Overdrive -> Maximum Overdrive -> Final Overdrive one, as I tested them all 10 minutes ago.

Note - if the move has "(end)" at the end of it, then there is no further followup to it.

Yeah, I'd seen the movelists on the Japanese site before the FAQ on GameFAQs went up. I wasn't sure if you could do the full Mximum Ovedrive combo, but I found it is possible when I wrote up those lists.

One slight change to the Giant Swing full combo. It should be /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif in the second part, not /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif.
