As far as I am concerned the Pats are the team to beat hands down and the colts are a close second either way the AFC will win Super Bowl no matter what regardless of who makes it in the NFC.

What do people think of the McNabb comments? I personally think he's blowing things out of proportion. He hasn't won a superbowl yet and he plays in Philly. Where the media is a lot harsher than in other cities. He should leave Philly and play in a smaller media market.

First of all race has nothing to do with this matter it has to do with frustration that comes with never winning the big game and he is pissed off at it. He is nothing more than an average QB and will never win a Super Bowl any time soon with the Eagles and knows it and he isn't happy about it. He had his one chance when they lost to the Pats that will be as close as he gets for a long time. He is just whining like a baby. (I am a black man myself and felt that what rush limbaugh said was accurate that he was an average QB and only that). Another thing that make it worse is he isn't playing well as of late and all QB's are watched closely by everyone if they play like crap the team loses it is their fault, if they win it is mainly their play that allowed it to happen, that is just the nature of the game in the NFL

Yeah, the starting quarterback job for any football team is highly scrutinized. They are always under a microscope. McNabb is being a bitch and it's sad that he has to use the race card. The Philly media just makes it harder for people who have thin skin to survive.

I agree. Eagles fans are very rough on their own players when they don't deliver. That's a very tough place to play. McNabb is just a crybaby who chokes.

Hey.. what do you think so far of the season? Are any of the 2-0 teams pretenders?

I think the Lions are really a surprise.

I think the Texans are pretenders. They will lose badly to the Colts.

My 2-0 team the Redskins (I have been a fan since the days that they were one of the best team in the league back in the 80's and early 90's. Show much potential and continue to show progress but unless I see do what I saw them do in 1999 or 2005 (playoff teams) and I see them do it consistently like the colts or pats they will always be losers in my book. I may think of them as losers but they will always be what I consider the best bunch of losers I will ever know and the 2-0 start I see now means nothing to me. I even saw them go 7-0 one year I forget what year it was and they still didn't make the playoffs that year. I see them as a pretender this year unless they prove to me they can actually win a big game when it counts late in the year or playoff time.

Which 0 - 2 team you guys think are going to bounce back: Giants, Eagles, Atlanta, Saints, Rams, Jets, Miami, Chiefs, or Oakland.

First as a biased fan I have believe the Jets will bounce back /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif But looking at it objectively, we have veteran leaders on our team in Chad Pennington, Coles, and Ellis so I don't think it'll be a team that will just fold. Also, it's perfect timing that we're going to face the Dolphins this weekend. So far, Chad is 6-1 against the Dolphins as a starter.

The others teams that i think that will bounce back are the Eagles, Rams, and Saints.

The skin's defensive backs corp is amazing. They are hard hitting and flying to the ball. I love seeing that corp. They might all end up in the pro bowl at this time. But time will tell. We will see.

I would like to see the Jets come back from 0-2, because the Pats seem to have it too easy. They are just five times better than all the other teams in their division.

I really think LSU will kill South Carolina.

Oh yeah a lot can happen, and for any SEC team (or team fan) to aim higher than an SEC championship opportunity is foolish.

That said, since 2003 folks in these parts have been itching (like, a really really bad itch) to see the Tigers try the Trojans on for size.

Many of these people also EXPECT LSU to go undefeated.

They want LSU to be on the shortlist for the NFL's next expansion franchise...and I quote from the local newspaper "heck, LSU has more talent than the Buffalo Bills."

They want the mascot (officially Mike VI) to keep his pre-mascot era name, ROSCOE.

Actually this last one I am in total agreement with.
