Friends & Rivals of VF [Share your impressions of people you played]

I think my Rival/Friend would have to be NinjinSan and his damn Wolf and Sarah. I have to play my best in order to get anywhere against him. But he did turn me onto VF4 and convinced me to buy a stick. /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

I feel as though I have many friends and rivals. To name a few:

IMF, for our thousands of matches in our quest for the Ultimate Power!

Ghostdog, for bringing the shining light of VF to Central Florida!! WHUT!!!

Jedi_Fei, for giving me that one call a day to keep me in line. smooches!

NYC, for being that ultimate evil image in my head. Many days of practice I owe to you guys =).

Korea, for showing me how to play VF. I was lost.

Team Replays, my Korean brothers and Friends forever!

Shou_sama, for coming down and playing us before Korea. Hat's OFF dude!

Creedo, For actually being the first VFDC member with a reputation to stick up for Florida players. Your our Martin Luther King /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

Hyun, for being in Korea and making our trip that much more comfortable. It was nice to see you =).

Cappo and DRE, for being the most hardcore loner VF players. I admire you guys playing as much as you do, I'm somewhat spoiled having the competition so close. You guys ROCK!!

Zero_Chan, For FINALLY getting me my sticks and once again bringing balance back into Blonde_one's world =). thanx for the pins!

Mr. Bungle, for showing me that even though we hate each other. We both still love VF and that'll do just fine =).

Blonde one.. since we hardly play each other now due to always playing the guests that come, I forgot to include you! haha. We had a good run for a while. Then travelled all the way to ny to play each other. That was a moment.

Jedi: I've eaten so many elbows from your Jeffery. It's still giving me nightmares!

as for the people i love to hate...

oda moudu - basically because he plays so calm you can probably hear a soft melody comming from the button tapping... then then you watch the screen, and his jeffry is a tyrant, IMHO i have only really seen kyasao's who looks that impressive in performance...

the_wall - because his sarah is rock now quite frankly..

vosor - generally we have some decent matches, i won't deny that i normally get the wrong end of the match, but hey, it's cool anywayz... i'm still training to get better in evo, i'm generally not a patient person when it comes to playing against humans, which normally gets me punished by strategic play. i'll learn one day.... /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

 

All i know is that any one i face in Virtua Fighter looses....It Takes Skill and Patience to be the winner. And anyone who has those qualities, then i except your challenge.

So I live in an incestuous little vf world where everyone I play I had to convert from some other fighter which will remain nameless. For this reason it's more than possible that the lot of us hum nuts, but we're all more than eager to let you guys be the judge of this sometime in MARCH in DALLAS.

Big Boy:
I have to say that Richard is one of the finest human beings I have ever known. I think this is what lets his Lau be so fucking mean. His defense can be weak at times, but if it is a money game or you are up 4 matches to 2 he's going to empty your pockets or get to 5 first. See, stealing your lunch money & walking you down are Big Boy's trademarks. Plays a variety of other characters with his main backup being Shun.

Ice Cold:
Posts here infrequently under the HS debate inspired nick Sprednxtend & once described by yours truly as "a constant source of mirth". There's nothing funny about his Vanessa though. Big Boy and I used to make fun of her despite her increasingly alarming win rate until we peeped out the green book dvd and wondered when the hell it was William swam his nappy ass to Japan. I want to say he's got the best defense in the group, but it's probably more his yomi skills that shine. Likes the females (game or no) & the ninja.

billie:
Sick skill considering the time (zero) he's invested in the game. Virtually unthrowable at times & constantly flying around the screen with Pai. A really entertaining guy to play and watch and seems to come up with something new on his own everytime he steps to the stick. Astonishing native ability that only needs a dint of hard work to become fearsome.

Dirty:
Kurt's dedicated to a Shun who runs while ignoring the Jeffry who never needs to. Once we convince him that Jeffry is his true path, I fear for our lives.

Fred:
Me. Flashes of brilliance footnote rather than punctuate my otherwise uninspired Akira play. My defense breaks down easily and my patterns on offense are easily sniffed out. Add some anger to the recipe and the losses mount. If I get happy though, I start to clown and this is where the footnotes come in. Plenty of other characters cameo in my matches with some regularity but I'm hooked on the pig.

ehh..i don't hate you - read this post of myke's in the huge flamewar suggestions thread, and look at point 3. sums it up pretty well.

 

You pig /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif Shou has one of the most combo solid akira's I have ever faced. Oink oink indeed!
