Fishie that is such crap dude, it realy is, both MS and Blizz said that NO employees were giving out information that was FALSE about SC:Ghost.

So who should I trust, the little man behind the keyboard, or the mutli-million dollar internation corporations who have reiterated this fact clearly many times?.........

Whatever anyone told you was probably another show floow rumor, speculation, or one of the many MS bashing jokes on the show floow (that you probably aren't aware of), this whole thing started out as a joke when the rumors of MS buying Blizz started up, you honestly are either making things up, or are very god damn confused.....

"New Blizzard North team lead announced"

Following the departure of the Diablo studio's founders, Blizzard names Rick Seis as development team lead....."

Lord De Seis is a very nice choice as the new head.

    Article at Gamespot

"Eidos announces that Jeremy Heath-Smith has stepped down from both its own board and that of Core Design."

Not all that big, but news is news, enjoy! /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

PS: the stuff about Eidos below it gave me a laugh, they are certainly not doing well.....

Eidos is getting raped over the crappy new Tomb Raider.

I'm sort of surprised they didn't release that game along side the movie, like they have been sort of doing recently. Maybe the pos would have sold better. Although I guess it was delayed quite a bit already.

About SC: Ghost... Well, according to IGN, the chances of Ghost going xbox exclusive are good, but still nothing is official yet. Read this.

Sales figures show that AoD is doing okay. It's certainly not tanking like the online media would have you believe. In fact, it's the #1 selling game across all platforms in UK. Eidos' marketing machine will push the numbers they need. Don't think for a second the movie won't help it, and there's always Christmas.

Games that suck sell; it's a tried and true fact of the industry.

Play the game and see it for the glitchfest it is. It is absolute positive crap and that sucks, because I am a big fan of the series. Also, it is selling ok, but *nowhere* near what the projected sales were for such a well loved franchise.

The last time Eidos stopped by my company (last week) they dropped of a handful of copies of both Tomb Raider and The Italian Job. Never did I say it wasn't a glitchfest; in no way did I ever try to intimate that there was any quality in the game at all. In fact, I closed by saying

immediately after a whole paragraph talking about AoD. /confused.

As for projected numbers, I never saw any so I don't know if it's meeting expectations or not. But the Tomb Raider series has sold steadily less and less since the first one (which is unusual for a series of Tomb Raider's status). I'm sure they expected it to do well, but I'm also sure that given the game's recent (and not too recent, considering it was supposed to come out almost a year ago) troubles, they weren't expecting much more than what they're going to get.

No, the chances are slim to none, I read that along time ago, perhaps this needs to be read by you, this interview was certainly below most people's radar, so no surprise if any of you missed it.

"Roper also shot down a rumor for us that Starcraft: Ghost was going to be an Xbox exclusive title. “I have no idea where those rumors came from,†Roper said, assuring us that the game will be released for Playstation 2 and GameCube consoles in addition to Xbox, although they are using the Xbox as the primary development platform and porting the GameCube and PS2 versions from it."

    Full Interview

    Site I found Interview from

Roper (was) VP of Blizzard, though this has been posted on this thread, and he claims they are "rumors," hopefully this is true, as I want my PS2 Ghost. /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

A few days back when I was browsing thru IGN’s website, I came across that article. Then I remembered seeing the same being debated in VFDC, so I thought I’ll just put up a link here. Oh well… /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Long story short, it looks doubtfull that it will be a permanent exclusive for now, something wich would piss empnova off since he is a system fanboy with a serious hatred for the XBox.
