Gametrailers Top Ten Fighting Games - VF is #2

I must have not seen many then, ones i've seen it's usually not in there or low down. Every review i've ever seen has been positive though, to be honest though i've noticed the majority of fighting games score an average of 8/10 or 80%.

There was an article in the magazine I buy about it, they basically said they always give them 8 or 9 cause they can't possibly get enough time to give them a proper review. So they have to base it off first impressions and that's hard with these kind of games, even the bad fighting games average at 7/10.

 

Yeah, I can see this. Look at SC4 and SF4 (ESPECIALLY SF4...reviewers were throwing around 10/10s like candy for that game). I think a reviewer needs at least a month before they can properly review any fighting game.

 

Through past reviews of top video games of all times this makes total sense. On an individual basis VF2 usually places in at a low number like in the teens.
