Even though I still prefer SH2 I thought the third one was really good too, and very scary at times. It took a while for it to get started, the second half is where it really starts to shine imo. So if you stopped playing about halfway through I'd recommend playing it again. :) In terms of story/atmosphere/soundtrack they really hit the nail on the head with SH2 though.

It's a shame that the HD Collection version of SH3 wouldn't allow for the original voices. I miss the way she speaks in the original version.

Now I'm looking to try out Shattered Memories and Downpour for myself. I played Homecoming in the past couple of years, but something about Homecoming left me wanting for something more.

Shattered Memories is fun, but it's more of a psychological evaluation than an actual SH game.

    Downpour was.......disappointing :(

    My opinions of course...

With all the content that's gonna be packed in those games, you'd probably be good for the next couple of years if you were trying to unlock everything and go for the platinum medals/ranks and what not.

    Combined with this

Gonna pick up DMC3 Special Edition after finish Dante's Awakening, since the saves transfer over.

Wondering if I should pick up NG2, which I probably will. I liked the Xbox one, but later one the game gets ugly (design wise) with Rachel and the Dinosaurs. Gonna look at vids and see if it's the same with NG2. I remember playing the demo and really loved the Japanese stage.

Well, lately I've been hooked on Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I received a copy of that and a 3DS from my friends a day after my birthday, and I'm almost depressed to say that I've never missed a single day playing this.

I may have an addiction problem. And I blame Tom Nook.

    He owns my soul...

its looking ok right now. there are a few sloberknockers but nintendo is still shitting out the same zelda/mario games right now. also they serouisly need to lower the price of it too; they had that angle on the original wii

Yeah a price drop would be nice, since I like low prices.

There are some issues that I have with the WiiU, an it's the Game Pad. I like it, but not being able to buy one on it's own is dumb as hell. I'm out of the loop for the most part but figured you could buy one, but NOPE. That's just odd to me.

Anyways Wonderful 101 get's it's direct in the U.S. at 7 am tomorrow.

Interesting bit on Sega and the PC market.

    http://tech.fortune.cnn.com/2013/08/08/sega-is-refashioning-itself-as-a-pc-game-maker/?iid=GM

If Sega goes leans more to the PC side with their games and brings the games I want there (old and new), then I'm going PC. More likely WiiU and PC as my only interest in the other consoles are what Sega and few others deliver on them.

Having a great time with Bayonetta still. Did the "legit" Halo farming in the game and started a new profile playing as Jeanne. It's nice as she has unlimited dodges, but at the same time trying to Platinum Normal mode and will start Non-stop Infintie Climax mode in a week or two. So yeah, got two profiles going ,with a third (for the the 3rd unlockable character) most likely on the way.

Hope a WiiU gets a price drop since I like buying things for cheap, and can cop that Platinum Goodness.

So the Wonderful 101, just solidified my future purchase of the WiiU. Game is out on Sept.15th. Apparently this Direct was pretty trolling, but I wouldn't know since it's the second one I've seen, lol!

Trailer is intense, and apparently this still isn't scratching the surface o.0

    About Killer is Dead...

Is Suda directing it? From No More Heroes 2 onwards their games have been a bit hit and miss, Killer Is Dead will be a day one purchase for me but i'm hoping Suda has stepped out of the producer role.

Thought I read Suda will be directing Killer Is Dead. Pretty hyped for it, but right now my attention is on W101, might have to pick up KiD later since I want a WiiU.

Guys, we were talking about Silent Hill 2 awhile ago and I would like to show you guys a review done by a friend of mine. He unfortunately passed, but I'll always remember him for reviews like these:

Just learned of the sad news that BlazBlue:Chronophantasma may not be coming to Xbox 360 :(

WHY?!!!!!!! I loved the game! I'm really hoping they they do at some point or at least one the next gen console... but that's probably wishful thinking.

Man so I've been playing Virtua Tennis 4 and NG2 and some VF5:FS.

I'm really digging VT. Everything about this game, I just love. The menu, color scheme, World Tour, gameplay, minigames. This makes me want a Virtua Racing game, so we could see a "Virtua" line of games. We have fighing and tennis, but would like to see this expand.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is cool. Enemey designs are great, combat is fluid, graphics are phenominal. The only downsided are the bosses are little "eh..." They're tough for sure but when I beat them, I don't get that satisfaction of the Bayo boss fights. Game is good, though.

Ryuu Ga Gotaku: Ishin just sold me on the PS4. I love the setting and the gameplay just looked awesome. It's coming out on the PS3 as well, but I figure might as well spend the extra dough and get it on PS4.

Something planned for the 20th Anniversary of Virtual On.

Hiroshi Yamauchi, the old president of Nintendo passed away recently.

Atlus will be a part of Sega now.

Lot of new in a short amount of time.

This is the type of survival horror that I just love. Most games give you weapons to deal with what goes on around you - but what happens when you know you are truly powerless against what you encounter? The first Amnesia game did that well, but I like the approach to this one better.

Also, I found this IGN video interesting...
