I have it on the PS3 and I'll be getting SF4 as well. This will work as a warm-up and reminder ^^' it's been over 5 years since I last played a 2D-fighter seriously.

I DLed this for Xbox. I ahve to admit it looks nice and feels somehow nicer than I expected, although Im a big huge noob in all 2D-games. This feels like I might actually keep playing it a bit. Although SC4 also felt nice until I played people. I havent tried online with HD remix yet.

WOW, the online is good in this game!!! Unbelievable lack of lag in all but VERY few matches. I've been having a blast and I love the new changes a lot. Even simplifying the moves a little has increased my enjoyment. The moves aren't easy but you can pull some cool stuff off without having to be a 10yr pro on the stick.

I think some of the old inputs were a bit much, just because of the speed you have to input them in. I'm loving the new Fei Long big time! Doing a jump in fierce, standing fierce into two in one Rekka Ken is still hard as fuck to pull off when you have a chance. Just think the simplified inputs make it a little better and more balanced. At least you have a prayer at landing a 720 (a prayer still, it's not fucking easy!)... I've been playing well but from what I see, Shag is (at the very least) one of the guys to play and to beat.

C'mon Shag, give me another shot at you now that I'm a little warmer!

That was so easy sorry. try doing his overhead kick into fierce 2 in one rekka ken. the timing on that is fucking hard.

I can front though. I experiece a very good connection in about 90% of my games. That makes this game a keeper automatically.Street fighter is a game of improv. You can predetermine your moves all that much in this game like VF5.

I have to echo above, the online seems really good. I was playing people from US and experienced basically no lag from what I could tell. Of course I am no SF vet either.

I really really really like this game. My buddy AJ and a guy I know named RushedDown are both excellent at SF so their skills are bound to rub off on me.

Vega's my fav char but personally i wish his d/f_f K was simply DP K but perhaps thats asking too much

    No, I hardly ever lose.
    I just want to see changes that matter, if it were up to me it would be something like this;

The way I'd rebalanced ST would be give everyone something to deal with fireballs and fireball traps especially.

Give everyone something vs. someone mashing throws defensivley in stun.

Give everyone an unthrowable reversal or perhaps make jump up unthrowable.

Add trip guard, which means, if you do an empty jump in you can't get hit by a low, however you can still get thrown or hit by a mid/high as usual.

hardly ever lose, huh? You try playing anyone good?

Trip guard was in ST for some chars but was taken out. IE, honda could empty jump and splash immediately if ryu tries to trip him as he lands. I think it's safe to say it was a good thing they left the rebalancing to top tier ST players.

I play good players several times a week at the arcade on ST where I both lose and win.

Honda does not have a trip guard, have you ever seen a Honda vs. Ryu match for example or Honda vs. O.Sagat?
You should look up Kusumondo vs. Ryu or O.Sagat on youtube and see how many of his jump ins actually get sweeped.

No need to look it up. I actually know him as well as some of the top OG japanese players like like tachikawa, itoyama and tzw (not top but amazing at combos). I also played in weekly tournaments at world finest comics in Socal from 91-93 where some freinds, waston, tomo and jeff ruled the socal scene.

Who are you? You must be pretty amazing if you hardly ever lose.

Before this turns into a flame fest, who said this was "Rebalanced"? It's "Remixed", and that's not quite the same /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Sorry Mike, I normally dont act like a jerk but when you read stuff like "HD remix sucks" and " I rarely lose", it really comes off as arrogant. There are plenty of strong players out there for VF as well as SF and I dont think anyone who was any good at all would say they "rarely lose".
