Getting SSFIITHDR or waiting for SFIV?

First of all, if you know Kusumondo then you can just ask him about trip guard and it's non-existance in ST.
Second, who you know doesn't make who you are so stop talking as if you've actually accomplished something, get of your high horse and stop being such an a-hole.
Not losing much vs. the opposition you encounter on STHD doesn't exactly take a lot of skill.
And I don't care if you played 91-93 since ST wasn't even out then so your opinion of what's good is based on WW/CE/HF which are all pretty shitty. I can see how you would disagree since CE is the only time americans got past the first round vs. Japan in SBO using broken dictators block infinite.

I think the game is more balanced. Without a doubt. IMO, they DID give everyone an answer to fireballs, so saying you would rebalance that, Skatan, doesn't make sense. Look at Cammy, I think she's pretty good now. She can punish fireball spam easily.

I'm very happy about the changes. Remember, the idea was to rebalance the entire game, not just the character "you" use... If you used to use Sagat, and you're mad about the changes, I don't know what to say, you must have wanted less of a challenge. He's closer to the other characters now, he's still very powerful, but he's a little closer to Earth.

I'm enjoying the game very much! I'm curious which changes are bothering you? I really don't think Sirlin over did it, he made good changes with a lot of thought put into them. I'm personally a fan of the new inputs as well. Allows me to play like I want to more often, but I still miss a lot of moves. The DP under pressure, on command, I don't hit every time still. The reversals, I'm even worse.

I played a really good DJ yesterday and he beat my ass up and down. He was a good player and used all of his moves very effectively (special and regular attacks) and understood what attacks were most likely to hit me, whether I was jumping in or getting up, he was just a good player.

I like this version of the game very much and the online is amazingly fast...

LA, do you think the balance is improved?

I dont have to talk about my own accomplishments in SF. Ask anyone that knows me from back in the day and they will tell you. Tomo, watson, Schaeffer, Choi. The strongest competition in the US for street fighter was from world warrior to hyper fighting and hyper fighting is still the best balanced SF2 in quite many players opinions.

This depends on who you play. If i'm in a room with valle, cole, sirlin, phil, the only person rarely losing is valle and I doubt you can hang with him.

But its ok for you to come in here and be an A-hole? I wouldnt have even responded to your first post if it was worded differently.

My mistake, you are right. I was thinking about something else.

Yeah, I think some balance issues have been improved but some mismatches are still quite bad.

I have a hard time E. Honda if I'm using anyone without a fireball. Just seems like he can frustrate most non-fireball characters with his hand slap, Ochio throw and flying headbutt... He just seems to overwhelm my Cammy and Fei Long with his power.

I'm not very good, so take my opinion with a nice, large grain of salt...

I think Sagat has been brought down to earth a little too as some characters can answer the fireballs better. I still think fireballs are the best attack though, just because you don't have to commit/risk your body to hit from afar.

Yeah, thats right pretty much. Honda has a large advantage in quite a few matches with non projectile characters but has a very hard time vs ryu, ken, etc. even with the new properties of the jab headbutt and jumping short kick.

The only character who is better IMO in the Remixed mode is T.Hawk. I would also say Guile if they kept his Super the same as classic.

If you read SkatanMilla/Freyja's posts in other sections of this forum you'd see that he/she comes off this way every single time. Dating back to 'founding' and naming a Sarah technique that was already shown in VF5's stocked match videos.

SkatanMilla is a fighting game super professional, keyboard jocky theorist, prime time innovator, and reaction god.

I'm really glad you called him out, for real.

People caught on, and now he/she going in circles man.

Where does he come off as a jerk in this thread? http://virtuafighter.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/174324/fpart/1

You must know this guy, that's cool man. I'm not calling his real character, just the posts. Also, I almost had a feeling, you'd come to his defense anyway, because you're both somewhat alike. Keyboard jocky theorist style.

    But I'm just sayin'

And finally, let me correct my mistake here, and say "almost" everytime, instead of everytime. I jumped too fast, cause you're right, right here. Dude doesn't come off as a jerk in that link. And Jeneric, here's a pre-emptive "No" to the getting into a battle of semantics. It is too confusing for us all, man.

Nice solution to get out of instigating a bad reputation for me, hope that works well for you in real life.

CGS does not exist anymore, yes, I have performed well in Doa4 but it's something I hardly bring up ever.
I play VF5 3-4 days a week offline, but yeah, I'm just a theory fighter.
I post strats, I thought that was what the character boards were meant for, maybe I was wrong? If something isn't posted in there and there is no mention of it, why should there be a reason for me not to post about it?
Reaction god, online tests are serious business appearantley.

I'm not the one jumping at people's throats, I'm the one getting jumped at.

I appreciate your strat posts. Please continue with those. Many of them create positive discussion.

    This kind of stuff...

...is bound to generate less-than-positive discussion. Fire at your own risk, man.
