Tell me the textures on OCTopusses suit arent the best youve ever seen in next gen. Thats the power of blu ray, baby. There were so many photo realistic scenes in this game I had to remind myself it it's just a game. You can see why MGS4 takes up the whole disc. And dont try and say it's the cut scenes, those are real time 3d.

That's how I played it too lol. Why it took me so long I think. I would just beat an act, then go play MGO or something else. I wouldn't play if I couldn't commit the time to beat an entire act in one sitting haha. I just have so much respect for this game.

The game doesn't just fit on a Blu Ray disc. It's a double layered one! They said that one layered BD was insufficient!

Anyway, the cutscenes definitely show how great the graphics are. Not a single cutscene is CG, all of them are made on the in-game engine. This is how games should look like! Have you seen any tears in this game!? They look soooo realisitc!

Has anyone come across the codec dialogue with Otacon in the Blast Furnace where they talk about how Snake took down the tank in which Vulcan Raven was? I laughed for 30 minutes after Otacon slipped into Internet/YouTube-Slang.
"Snake, you're so crazy..." - "Is this your idea of a compliment???" - "Yeah Snake, you're the toughest, craziest, HARDCORE BADASS of them all. You're THE SHIT"

Make sure you check it out. By the way, has anyone of you experienced a cool/funny codec dialogue? If yes, please post where to call Otacon, thanks.

Make sure you call Otacon in the Screaming Mantis fight when you changed the controller port and before you took the injection.

Blu-Ray dbl layer Damn I didn't know that. Hideo is the Shit... if they all made games like him I'd be broke. The amount of detail he puts into MGS is off the chain. I was tripping off the guinea pigs; they move around so realisticlly.

God Damn, I just got to *Location Deleted* and... 'ShinobiFist' suggested that I use Spoiler Tabs, but I didn't know how to do Spoiler Tabs so I just deleted. I really apologize for my ignorance; I'll find out how to do those tabs next time.

i just bought the game and all i can say is shit why didnt i buy it sooner metal gear solid rocks. btw its my first metal gear too and i suck aleady died like 15 times, lol

WOW! Listen cowboy, get the MGS Database(Is Free) form the Playstation Store. It will keep you up to date on WTF is going on. I suggest you go through that, to get a better understanding of the characters.
