True. If Iron Maiden is a hair band (I always reserved that descriptor for Poison, Warrant, etc), I like hair metal.

It is likely our tastes are not the same.

That doesn't mean that what you like sucks.

Oh please You need to play more games then.God of war is a Great game no doubt its the first Next gen version of the game so they had to pull out the stops. Kratos still kills shit the same and gets even more busier. IF you like GOW1 and GOW2 you love this because they do nothing different except for make everything bigger. Obviously you can't go wrong here.
This is not the end all be all for gaming. Sorry. Very worthy of a purchase though and you will get your moneys worth.
In fact im going to buy it and play it on my brother PS3 just so i can kill shit now that i finished Dante's inferno.

@Dennis - Dante's Inferno is a good game. You Should have played it before GOW though lol!! Its like a appettizer for the main course. I give Dante his credit though the Story is presented nice and easy and understandible. If Dante's Purgatorio is released then they will have no choice but to go bigger and Better also which in turn makes gamers happer lol!!

Seidon The God of Battle walks alongside me! Content Mgr El Blaze

So the people that make the games don't deserve a "good job"?

Hehe, sorry Seidon you're arguing silly semantics. Sony = Sony and their programmers and their mother's programmers who worked on the game. It's pretty obvious that's what he means. Let's not argue how granular the detail in the credit given to a company.

It's the same as giving someone shit for saying "Man Sega did a great job with VF5R!"

"... correction Sega's programmers have achieved nirva-"

Come on give him a break [IMG]

Great game. Definitely a must-own title.

Dante's Inferno was a blatant copy... of the PS2 GoW's.

GoW3's scale pretty much pee'd all over Dante.

P.S. Not that impressed with the new FF. Not a bad game by any stretch, but I can't shake the feeling that the Japanese devs are obviously a year or two behind the Western ones.

Thank you Captain Obvious... How many other games were rippoff's? ok then too bad Dante's Inferno was actually good. After far as GOW3 Budget went it had no choice but to crush Dante's inferno. I tell you one thing though. Don't sleep. If Dante has a part 2 it will carve its own niche in the hack and slash genre.

I thought, after Uncharted 2, it would be a long time before we see a game with such well directed, jump-out-of-your seat exhilarating gameplay moments. Playing God of War 3, I see I was wrong. Im only just past the second Boss (Hades)and already I see Gow 3's single player giving Uncharted 2 a run for its money. The demo isn't shit compared to the finished game. Dont base your opinions on Gow 3 on that demo. I would have finished Gow 3 already but Im playing on hard mode and Im trying to beat Yakuza 3 on hard mode at the same time.

This game is definitely worth being denied Heavenly Sword 2. Gow 3 is development dollars well spent. And I loved Heavenly Sword.
