Goh Combos

Discussion in 'Goh' started by Leonard_McCoy, Jun 6, 2012.

  1. It's -6 on hit and neutral on CH, of course you don't get a combo after it.

  2. I don't know what CH means but I thought it might be a new catch-throw or something.

Of course! How stupid of me not to know everything about the game after only having played it a few times - I'll go and kill myself straight-away.

Or did you mean to say. "Of course, you don't get a combo after it." Which isn't rude at all - the , makes a big difference in the meaning of that sentence.

  3. BTW that was a little confusing. When I say I thought it might be a catch throw I don't mean CH, I meant leading from the down + kick.

generally you get combos on juggles, crumples, certain knockdowns and big frame advantage so you can link other moves.

Gohs low kick doesn't do any of these things. on hit or counterhit.

    CH means counter hit.

Those are some pretty sick combos for such easy execution.

Just a little idea for you guys...

With proper spacing: 46P P 46P+KP Wall hit 9P+K... go from there.

A slightly modified version of the wall combo found in the FS video thread (because I'm lazy and doesn't really require much execution):

    CH [6][K] > [6][P][+][K] (Wall Hit) > [1][P][+][K] > [4][P][+][K] (No Charge) > [9][P][+][K] > [6][P][+][K] > [3][P][P] *OR* [3][K][P]
133 Damage, haven't tested it on all characters but doesn't work on Taka.

Here are a few combos I came up with (a couple are variants on ones already posted) and will work on LW & MW unless otherwise noted (obviously most will not work on Taka):

    1P+K >
    P > 4P+K > 3PP [76]
    46P+KP > 3PP [75]
    P > 3K~P+G [68]

    P+K CH >
    3PP [56] MW Only
    46P+KP6P [70] MW Only

    6K+G >
    9P+K > P > 3PP [71]
    9P+K > 4P+K > 3PP [79]

    4P+K >
    46P+KP > 3K~P+G [76] LW Only
    46P+KP > 3KP [68] LW Only
    46P+KP > 3PP [69] MW Only
    P > 3K~P+G [62] MW Only

    6K CH >
    3KP > 3PP [94]

    3K+G >
    P+K > P > 3PP [62] LW Only
    4P+K > 46P+KPP [69]
    4P+K > 46P+KP6P [72]

    9K+G > 3P >
    46P+KPP [82] MW only
    46P+KP6P [85] MW Only
    3PP [76] MW Only
    46P [64] LW Only

Also as a side note, after hitting a guarding opponent with a 4P+K fully charged you can link into a 4P+K as well and thus into any of the 4P+K combos (given the distance).

Thank you Leonard_McCoy for those combos. I realized I made a mistake for the 4PK(full charge).
    It should be:
    4PK full charge (staggers when they block) > 46P > P > 46P+KP6P
    -62 dmg, breaks opponent's guard

I also found that this combo actually also works on the middle weight class:
    1P+K > P > 9P+K > 46P+KP6P
    -84 dmg, middle weight

A better and easier combo IMO for 4PK full charge against everyone except Taka is:
    4P+K full charge > 4P+K > 2_3P+K
    -68 dmg

If you really wanna go max DMG 4P+K max charge, try:
    > 1P+K > P > 4P+K > 46P+KP6P.

Found pretty sweet combos on LW.

    [1] [P]+[K] > [4] [6] [P]+[K],[P] > [P] > [6] [6] [P]+[K] > [3] [P],[P] - 90 dmg
    [1] [P]+[K] > [4] [6] [P]+[K],[P] > [P] > [6] [K],[P]+[G] - 86ish dmg (for dat flash)

I guard cancel after the 46p+k,p just to be safe!

Sorry if these allready has been found! [IMG]

    EDIT:
Hm, found something weird on Taka..

    [1] [P]+[K] > [9] [P]+[K] > [4] [6] [P]+[K],[P] > [IMG] [3] [P]+[K] - 83 dmg

This is alot better than the combos on Wolf/Jeff which im still testing, but it looks like this combo is most damaging.

    [1] [P]+[K] > [P]([G]) > [P]([G]) > [4] [6] [P]+[K],[P],[6][P] - 70ish

Regarding the Taka combo, Im guessing this works on [4] [P]+[K] aswell, since they give the same sort of float... Checked, works! [IMG]

    Found another on Eileen(All LW?);

    CH [1] [P]+[K] > [3][P],[P] > [P]([G]) > [6] [K],[P]+[G] - 100+dmg

    Got a couple more today:

    6K CH > 1P+K >
    P > 6K~P+G [99] MW [95] LW
    P > 46P+KPP [98] MW [94] LW
    P > 46P+KP6P [101] MW [98] LW

    6K CH > 4P+K >
    46P > 46P+KPP [84] MW
    4P+K > 46P > 46P+KP6P [87] MW
    46P+KP > P > 3K~P+G [94] LW
    46P+KP > P > 3PP [85] LW

Hi, I'm new this Goh and VF in general. I was wondering what the most important juggle starters I should be focusing on? From my exp, the Ch 6K seems very strong, he has the 1P+K launcher and 46P gets decent dmg for a quick safe high.

I would like to know, aside from throws, what Goh usually gets his damage from.

    I don`t think it`s been mentioned yet?
    [3] [3] [P]>OM [P]> [4] [6] [P] [+] [K] [P] [6] [P]

It does one more point of damage than dashing in and doing [2] [P]

It also enables you to do it to Taka and Jeff but you must OM in the correct direction for it to work.

Quick one with the hit throw:

    [6][6][P]+[G] > [3][P] > [P] > [6][6][P]+[K] > [P] > [4][K]+[G]

Works on Eileen, El Blaze and Aoi for 82 dmg.

I just want to give huge kudos to all contributors...I've been in practice mode trying to learn all of these combos.

Can someone point me towards general notation? Like the numbers for directions, general terms, etc?
