From actual matches in order to demonstrate that it really works and that not everything I write down is complete bullocks? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

What is the best way to handle button mashing jacky users using goh? One guy I fought online had used jacky and did nothing but high kicks, is there a move that counters high kicks?

Evade then 46P into a combo. If they're into doing PPP in wake-up do Goh's 3K+G hit~6P+G throw. If they're just mashing chances are they don't know how to escape throws so if you can get a stomach crumple (like 6K on counterhit) go for the easy low-throw.

46K counters high kicks (apart from mid and side kicks). Against button mashers blocking and countering with 6K for example can bait them into counter-hits and net you a nicely damaging combo draining 1/3rd of his life bar (follow up with standard 6P+KP). Blocking and countering with high speed attacks such as PK4 can lead to some interesting options as well. I usually spam PK4 until they get it, which is unfortunately not too much the case.

I've updated my blog with a new article that goes beyond the usually well-known defensive techniques such as ETEG.

You can read it here: Advanced: Sabaki Throw Escape.

    Brilliant, Leonard. Seriously. Thank you!

I had no idea that VF5's system would accept a /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif//forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif//forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif imput in place of /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif after Kumite Harai and still go into Tsukami. I tried this out for myself earlier, and before I did so I was thinking "How could this possibly work?". And then, I tried it, and then I was thinking "This is freaking awesome.".

I myself am a big fan of Kumite Harai-Tsukami. I consider it one of Goh's most underused moves (Among matches on Youtube, ect). I have often noticed though, either in my own playing or watching a match online, that Kumite Harai is punished with a throw. Now, guessing when your opponent is going to do a punch/elbow is hard enough, but trying to do that and be ready to do a throw escape is nearly impossible! (At least it is for me. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif )

Thanks to STEs though, Goh players can remove that weakness from Kumite Harai-Tsukami forever (Unless they don't do the right TE of course). Now all that I have to do is get used to doing /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif//forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif ect. after Kumite Harai and not just /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif... and that'll take some practice. It'll be well worth the effort though.

Thanks again for the technique. You just made one of Goh's best moves even better.
