Samson wasn't flaming. He was stating his opinion. He wasn't trying to stir up anything. But you have responded with dumb insults over a post that isn't even yours!

He's voiced his opinions on this thread in a way that's far nicer than what I'd like to say about it, though...

Zero, tellin Chibita his Kage is better than his Lion isn't being mean, as a matter of fact I think most people would at least appreciate the observation.

I never had any problem with him stating his opinion. Only thing I had a problem with, is the fact that if he didn't find the shit I was writing funny then why the hell was he wasting his time reading it ? Nobody is forcing him to read this stuff.

The thread was actually running pretty smoothly, people were having fun reading the int. and I was having fun writing them. You can say whatever you want about this thread I don't have any problem with that but don't act like I'm SUPPOSED to make YOU or SAMSON laugh.

Ok lets say he's disappointed about this thread, this thread is garbage, it's not funny... Ok why doesn't he just move on to another one. It's as if I go to a party and the MAJORITY of the people there is having a good time but for some reason I don't like the music so I fuck it up for everybody else by unplugging the stereo. No I'd go somewhere else and let the people who's having fun at this party have fun. I'm not forced to stay right ?

I think that's exactly right. Sure people have the right to think what they want and say what they want. I wish people wouldn't be compelled to spew their thoughts all over the place if they're not really going to help, especially if they're unsolicited. And "I thought the others were funnier..." does nothing by itself, it's just a fucking peanut gallery comment. You want to be constructive? Offer a solution: "I'd have written it like this." - and then contribute. Yes, people who post in public are open (and apparently asking) for ridicule or useless commentary, but really now.

I know right, we were actually chillin, no beef no drama whatsoever, no stress. Just hangin out and joking around about the game. And out of nowhere this shit happens, I didn't mind the opinions good or bad because I didn't have any pressure doing this, I was actually having alot of fun doing them. And I'm pretty sure there's alot of people who probably thought what I was writing was garbage but they respected those who actually were having fun with it by moving on. But somebody had to come and fuck it up because HE wasn't laughing !!!!!??

And as a disclaimer so i dont get all these people after me also for no reason, There is nothing personal behind all this. Ive mearly taken the post that offer no real comment (good or bad) about the subject at hand.

I didnt elaborate why i thought the others were funnier because i already stated why they were funny and why i didnt think the others were as good. I dont think i need to repeat myself in that aspect (once again out of respect for ONI, which most people seemed to have missed, that i DO respect him for his comedy).

And to ONI, youre totally right. Pretty much any argument i could come back with can easily be batted away with "ITS FOR FUN YOU JACKASS! CALM DOWN!" I know its for fun, and im not really trying to ruin anyones fun, but if you dont agree with the majority people will take it as an attack, which none of it was. And i do respect you because most people that make jokes about established characters run the gamit of a fiew catagories: 1. drugs, 2. excessive cursing and 3. sex. Your first 2 didnt use any of these and they were incredibly funny for their originality. However the next few relied on these overused cliches and well, i was hoping that if i said something maybe youd bring it back (which you did with kage). Thats also not to say that i have some super high standards for comedy (which i may or may not. Whats funny and the standards of it are kind of personal), those 3 thigns can be funny when they are used in creative ways (i personally think dude wheres my car is one of the funniest moveis ever).

(side note for a little more emphasis: Steve Martin is probably one of the most influencial celebrities for me. Hes made some of the smartest, and funniest plays and movies. However, when he did "bringing down the house" [shutter] i was appauled and severly disapointed. And honest to god, if i ever saw him in person i would bring it up. But id be sure to say how much i loved his other stuff and still beleave in him as a entertainer.)

Of course this can be countered with, "ITS FOR FUN!" and yeah your right, but please take this as constructive critiscsm and not a personal attack that everyone else has seemed to take it as.

And for everyone elses comments, i really dont care. Ive stated my opinion and if you all want to take it personal (when its not even about you!) then go ahead. Flame or whatever. ONI is really the only person that i hope this gets too.

Subject at hand? I don't see why you think my comments contain no real substance. I just thought that the inerviews were funny, that's all. I don't want to write a full page review on interviews with game characters. I just enjoy reading them. I don't want to analyze or chastize, I just want to read them, that's all. It's been said before, but I'll say it again. The point of this thread was to have fun, or be funny. Not to employ a 5 star ranking system. If you don't enjoy the content of the thread, (which is not what you said, it's what you implied) feel free to leave.
