ggs rodney......a.k.a. phantom limbs. how the fuck you get every milimeter out of ur hitboxes amazes me. i swear. Seems like i'll gator-arm whiff an attack than you'll hit me with the same attack from further away.

sorry to just turn it off as the last match ended, but i was dangerously close to the break-something-tipping-point (namely my joystick), which might actually help me out, b/c i can't do a damn thing i'm trying to on that piece of shit.

i guess i have to put online play down until i figure out this joystick better. i was suprisngly ok with it when i first played again a few nights ago, but every day i seem to be worse and worse, to the point that i can't do anything i'm trying to. and even if i could, i'm so consumed by hesitation and doubt, and lack of confidence, its just about impossible for me to play a coherent match.

p.s. all that aside, you had some pretty quality flows with lei fei, and good movement besides. i could see past my own ineptitude to the fact that you got some nice stuff happening there. and strangely, as i remember it from a few years ago when i was brand new to the game, the way you are playing him now is nothing like you did back in the xX Rodnutz Xx days.

GG's To Rodney - You are the Man Kid lol!!! Thanks for the Long Session. I hate sitting inactive waitng for someone to join. I was fallen asleep until i heard the opponent joining track. i Knew i was in for a rude awakening when i see it was you and Lei.Thats a Nice Solid Lei Fei you working on. I notice the Patterns but i was too flustered to even stop it. That 66p is a killer. To top it off i would see the throw coming ad sometimes i could break it other times lag and reflexs cost us some matches. Anytime your on Rod lets get it in.

    HEAT THE SOUL!!!!

GG's man! I had a lot of fun in our matches. I definitely play a little better these days, but I guess you have no choice when you get beat up by Denkai all day. You have to make less mistakes.

You Lei felt like it was holding back a bit though. Maybe it was because of my weird medium distance style and movement. I think if we played more and got comfortable with my style you could turn the tides. At least that's how it always went when we played. I start off well, but you finish me off badly. Let's play again some time bro.

    Good Games to Social Ruin

For some reason I don't remember your Lei being that good but
whatever, good show. You've got a good variety and you just
did whatever worked. Makes sense. Hopefully I can push you
further next time and force you to make some decisions. If
anything I realized though both of us got hit by sweeps like
    it was in style.

    Cheers

GGs rodney great session vs your leifei. I mustve threw every trick in the book to confuse u but u held on with solid defense, offense, stepping, and the most important aspect when dealing against lei patience.Ur linear game with 66p was brutally strong with bashdash 33p to beat whiffs or utilizing half circular 66p+k(hit)then box stepping.

ggs twp. lol, we were eating some sweeps. On the other hand, we were both looking to land big mids, so maybe that was why. Ducking can be dangerous. You are sic with that lunging mid punch that gut collapses on CH. Luckily u didn't get it going today, but u've beaten me up with that pretty good before (especially as an oki). Otherwise, i think i may have came in with a slight edge just because you have destroyed my goh so much recently, you may have taken me lightly. @ the end you adjusted and evened it up a little by catching onto some of my patterns. And i'm sure once u catch my patterns, you'd be able to start using that damn mule kick to interrupt. And i agree with what u said in the shoutbox, shun is vicious when u can start interrupting with the mule kick.

Konjou. Holy shit, that brad whipped my ass. I was ready to just do my thing, so i thought. Then you dropped a 7 and 8 game win streak on me. Eek. I had to slow down and try and figure something out. Most brads play with his slipping/ducking to get away with disadv, you thru a monkey wrench at me in how well u used moves that kept u at an adv. Never played a brad like that (that i can remember). Eventually i caught on to some of the combos u were using and quit attacking into CH like an idiot, but that only evened it up a little, and u were already 15 ahead. I am really impressed. You could have a great lei/brad/shun/kage. You do have a great akira. I think you are getting to the point where you can roll with any character.

You too cozby. Getting to that special level where what you do, you can do with any character. You are on the path man. For sure.

firstly, [edited to be more succinct] i'm a long ways away from being competitive again [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

second, i loved your weird mid-range style. it was fresh and inventive. its awesome the way you put that konjou_akira (sorry if you are trying to get away from that moniker, but thats still how i think of you) style into everyone you play. Its unique in that you are more passive than aggressive, and somehow manage to play super dominate wihle being passive!!

Lastly, you sir, are a liar. you used to whip me to start the games, whip me to pace time during the middle of the sets, and then whip even more thoroughly nearing the end. everytime i thought i had gotten "that good" i'd be like, i need more matches with konjou, i'll show him whats up this time.............and then you'd beat the stuffing out of me and i'd realize i had still yet to become average at this darn game.

Passive mid game, true, it's a great way to describe Konjou indeed. It's like he waits a beat to get interrupts. I tried to meet his beat the last time I played him with mixed results. Maybe I'll get there though.

GGs to Kamais Ookin, Manaknight, and King of Karnage. I hadn't faced any of you in a while and it was really fun. It was nice to talk to manaknight and king of karnage though especially manaknight we actually shared some strategies in our pai mirror match and hopely he can incorporate them in his game. I was somewhat shocked at KO's gg message, he made it seem like no one plays pai chan online anymore. KO sure has a way with words too, no wonder he is one of the more outspoken people here.

I hope to see more of you guys later on though it was great.

GG to Lucky GT. -Sorry for not putting my all into it. I think im done with VF for a bit. I'm at the point where its not fun again. Im gonna play a few shooter until i get the urge. Our first 2 matches i wanted to prove a point to myself about VF and i did just that. When i realized the point i made it felt like i was at a standstill cuz this worked with everybody (Or Maybe i evolved.). With all dues respect GT it was in reference to something me and you talked about in our messages about Pai and what you were doing. I did the same thing against Rodney and got the same results. I just wish i can play you guys offline as much as online. I would really want to see if you can factor in the amount of clashes and those i knew if "its was'nt lagging" The "I know i inputted the TE'S" or the infamous "I would've duck under that throw moments" that happens lol!.

Anywho. GG's to everybody that still play VF. I really want R now.

GG's man that Jacky was really nice. I was off on a good run and then all the sudden you got serious and changed the tempo of the match with the ever so abusive [1][P] lol Damn that's fucking good move. It took me forever to remember how to nullify it's freezing effect it puts on you.

I was even more impress when I adjusted to the [1][P] mix ups and then you adjusted right back and started to take them wins again. My Lei has never gone up again a good Jacky so that was a lot of fun. I learned a lot of do's and don'ts so it will be interesting to see how well I can do next time.

Thanks for the great matches bro... really that Jacky you have is awesome.

GG's Numbers fucking "A" man I need to incorporate some of your mix ups into my game. There are just out of this world. How do you come up with them? That was one of the best 2 hour sessions I ever had. Well I don't know if it was 2 hours, but damn it felt like it. Let's do that again some time soon. I need to see those mix ups and again [IMG]

Yeah my style does have a weird beat to it. Unfortunately it's a beat that Denkai, Adam and CidKid are immune [IMG]

Yeah that Low Backfist is a Terror lol!! I was just trying to get you out of your comfort zone a little and more conscious to crouching and guarding(Disrupting the Fuzzy Technique.) Sword Cancel kicks was failing me because you would disrupt my flow at times i thought i could atleast flow through. In fact i could'nt even get them to come out. Everytime i tried to land a 6,4P+G afterwards i got the simple P+G. Sometimes With players of your Caliber Rodney the "Less is More" Saying holds so true in battle. Watching them Dabi vids on youtube are inspirational lol!! I won't be back in VF for a little while because i don't want to study long and study wrong. So when i get back in a few days we could most def get another session going.
