I'm mostly on in the evening hours, between 10 to 12 GMTish. I think you are US-based though, so that we might run into troubles arranging dates for matches.

After playing your Sarah and Blaze I learned some new mix up options. Sarah canceling from 9k+g k k-cancel. I also forgot about her move 9k+g k 4k too.

Your Blaze mix ups after 4p+k when blocked was interesting, I usually stay put because I always expect sweeps 90% of the time anyone is BT`d. I dunno if a back dash would get me away from the sweep? My bad for attacking from tech rolls to much. Glad I now learned some tech attacks for me to use when I play Blaze.

After all this time I still have a bad habbit of punch grabbing. Got owned by Mitsuraga to for trying that nonesense on him to.

ggs to ohnoyoudidn't. Man that was a fun set. What 1 1/2-2 hours. It was fun to play vs your akira with all 3 of my clowns. Some of those matches were really good too, but by the end, not so much, lol. At least we were fading at the same rate.
Superp inputs man. You were pumping that SPoD. Nice stuff man.

GGs to Seidon and Kahn Rahn. Some fun sets recently. I like Kahn Rahns Oki with Eileen. Crushing a rising kick with Zenk 2K is mad risky, but i always [IMG] when i see it.

We gotta have some more Lei mirrors Seidon. Ridiculous matches with a crazy character.

ggs to gastinell! your akira is growing nicely. it won't be too long until you get his double palm timing down. keep practicing your SPoD. you'll get it down in no time.

ggs to you too social ruin!! those were very fun indeed, though i did play like an idiot in the beginning and near the end of the session especially vs your Jacky. i kept asking myself 'wtf are you doing?' XD did u like the mid wake up kick - p p p p - double palm combo i did? lol

    ggs akira zero.

aaargghh. lit me up. my akira is rather lame in dojo, and he's a shadow of his dojo self in real play. such a frustrating character to get the hang of. had i put this time into anyoen else, i dare say i'd be twice as effective with them. thanks for the games. Back in the day, when it was monk vs akira all the time, i didn't know akira well enough to appreciate all the stuff you were doing (or trying to do).

and i agree, i would say the xboxlive texting system is the worst construct in all the world, but sadly, i have recently came across the MH3 texting system. (for those not in the know, they created their own keyboard lay out for it [IMG]) that being said, xboxlive still takes the cake for being unresponsive. nothing like trying to type out a message to make you wonder how you can EVER correctly input a move.

p.s. nice movements into throws. quality stuff.

GG's to HappyFriend - sorry I bailed on the second session, but I just wasn't in the mood for more [2][K] and [8][K][K] spamming. I only had like 4 hours sleep and I was playing half ass'ed anyway trying to do as little as possible, but after like the 3rd match in the first session the matches just were not fun anymore. I only kept it going cause after 20-25 minutes of hosting and listening to that god awful lobby music to the point of almost falling asleep you were the only one around playing. Plus I notice something about you from past sessions and that's if you are loosing badly you won't stick around. You will bail in like 2-3 matches every time. So I took a few bullets just to keep you around, but damn after a couple hundred [2][K] and [8][K][K] I just couldn't take it anymore.

Really I don't know why you spam this move so much, because as good as it is it's not that good. I got hit mostly because I just wasn't trying to avoid it nor struggling out of the stagger when I got hit. I remember a while back ToniFamilia posted something about this and I gotta say he was right.

While it may get you wins against beginners and intermediate players, it will lead you to getting highly frustrated against more serious players because like I told you in a XBL message once it get's nullified what do you have to fall back on? Really it's fine to exploit a strong move, but I think you will get father if you don't make it so OBVIOUS you are exploiting that good move.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but take the post however you like because I'm used to my constructive criticism getting bashed in the end anyway... Aaron your strong bro, but you would be stronger if you use some of Lau's other handy tools and learn to at least hit check [8][K][K] instead of just firing it off after [2][K] 70-80% of the time. I expect this from a scrub like DarthMinion who also uses Lau this way, but not from a player who has proven himself at local tournaments to have more skills than this.

You are beginning to sound more like a 'scrub' yourself with replying like this. You posted this in the GG's thread but it sounds more like a BG's reply on Happyfriend and mocking myself along the way. Don't take your noob frustrations out on others !

Ok ScrubMinion! So does this means you will stop joining my games when I'm hosting now? *prays for a kick option in the next VF game*

Actually, Rodnutz instigated this one in one of his earlier posts.

Let's back away from this petty little fight and talk about the good ones we had online, alright? [IMG]

Rodney, while you might have instigated this (which I couldn't care in the slightest) I must agree with your above comment.

HappyFriend - You want to get better? PLAY!!! (And more than 3 matches.) And saying, "I don't have the strength to deal with Shun for more than 3 matches" is lame.

    Wow, I'm fired up today!

I remember playing him back when i was on all the time, and he would bounce after 3-4 games when it was going bad.

However, when i'd played Happy after my lei off (hehe), after my lay off and he was winning, he would stick around much longer. Ironically, and do 2k 8kk a bunch, lol.

But that being said, if i was in the mood for it, i can't complain, cause there aren't enough good players for me to be picky. But it does make it even worse sometimes when a good player shows up, then doesn't 'really' play.

In fairness though, i've done it before too. Sometimes i'd rather play than not play, but rather not play good than put out the effort to play good, so i just do something annoying over and over. I think maybe everybody does it sometimes. Just a question of how often u do it.
