Lol, to me he does light down attacks and Lion's "finger" whenever he wins a round. Then when I start stomping him he runs away "Daaah, nobody wants to play with meeee, daaaah." XD

Social Ruin, when you get going you're one of the most in-your-face fighters on xbl. That's a good thing. You're right, I don't know what it's like to fight myself but I hope that it feels something like fighting you when you get on a roll and that my opponent is thinking "Get off me!". I think you've developed a good flow with whatever character you play. It seems to work to your advantage to not techroll most of the time but I suggest that you do. Not just so that I can run my game against you but because most good players do techroll against me. It's a good way to work on your yomi and defense

Smb, you're back! Well, maybe not to the fullest Smb destructive force that I remember but your Pai beasted on my Jacky for those first two or three matches, I was impressed man. The yomi that both you guys apply has to be carefully observed to be appreciated. Social whiffs a throw and then he will start mashing out throw escapes like a crackhead with a turbo stick but if I PK or launch him out of it once or twice, he'll stop... until you try to throw him again.
You, your yip kick mixups are unmatched, I notice the yomi more on your attack patterns and mixups. Great stuff bro, it's great to have you back. Even if it's for a limited time. Please do not take my aggression personally, if I get down attacked or whatever, I don't get pissed, I just start showing more aggression because is mostly a mind game.
It really helps that you guys have great reflexes and great hand speed Oh and about OM attacks, I'm going to miss them in VF5FS (lol, if we ever get it) maybe that's why I'm using them so much

Ikarebose73, hadn't played you before, you know your stuff. Great to see new players on VF.

VFnumbers, your Lei is beautiful to watch when he gets going. You still do the freeze and fuzzy thing from time to time but not as much as before which is good. I see you stay active and your ETEG game is great. Those Lau vs Lei matches were soo much fun. Lol @sabaki'ing your sabaki

Mackfactor, great playing you again. Very nice Eileen, you should try more oki mixups from her flip. If timed just right she can make me feel like there's nothing I can do but to get hit. Looking forward to seeing what other tricks you come up with for her.

TitanTony, you did great bro. Nice use of Pai's trip, everytime I remembered to block low it was too late XD Keep it up man, you're def on the right path.

Lost Cloud, that was a great Goh, I can tell that you've been using him for a while now. Haven't had a good Goh-off like that since I last did mirror matches with Social.

JHow, I don't think I've seen you post on this thread but maybe you'll read this: had a lot of fun. For me, you're like a measuring stick of how good/bad I'm doing. Back in the days you were able to go and get a 10 game win streak but not anymore. You still got a good 7 though before I got warmed up. That wasn't a good sign for me but the matches that followed that were a great sign for me. It seems like I need to wake up sometimes and stop watching and thinking how much Shun belongs in Tekken (lol) and instead focus on applying better defense and yomi. I'll keep working on starting off stronger. It took me waaay too long to adapt.

Thanks tfam Lion has been my focus lately more than my Pai or Van and the progress is slow but I was getting alot of matches with other people as well and I saw some improvement people like vfnumbers, zakkapa, panther neogeo, and more all helped in this and showed me things I should be doing especially Zakkapa. He show a few thing with lion that I will steal from him sorry man I have to do it to get better, I wish I was playing you against my Lion though to gauge my Lion vs yours.

social ruin--when your jacky is on, he is vicious. you are the reason i hate jacky, well , at least the most RECENT reason for me to hate jacky. (and lei fei too for that matter.)

i dont' take it personal at all. heck, i started the pounce-a-thon. actually, i occassionally accidentally will do a heavy down attack trying to buffer in moves post round, and then my opponent thinks i'm being a jerk.

and you are right, i don't like fighting jacky at all. i get burned out on him (and goh to a lesser extent) playing my brosquito. when you showed up with jacky i thought, uggghhh, here we go again! lol.

and yes, playing you does feel like playing my bro i leave my sets against both of you thinking "sorry bastard, why not use a real character, instead of___(brad, jacky, lei fei) and just spamming mindless attacks. fuck all this, ____ is broken online. what crap." and then a few hours later i cool off a bit and think, well jb/tony is pretty damn good with their character. that is one siiiiiiiiick brad/lei fei. what skill.

haha, yeah, i completely discredit you guys directly after getting dominated. but then when cooler head prevail i'll admit to myself that you guys are pretty awesome. props to both of you. (i'm sure there are better ones out there, so nobody get all ruffled up about this)

BUUUUUUT, as far as the people i encounter online, you boht have came along more than anyone else i've played. (especially social ruin, b/c he i was halfway good when he just picked up the game.) Until now,

Social Ruin is the most dominate lei fei online. (i havne't played coz in ages and don't know how well he does with lei nowadays)

And Tfam is the most beastly brad. stuff is crazy.

props guys. i wish i had the dedication you guys had. but after playing for 45 mins or so i'm done, and gotta find something else to do. If we ever get FS, you guys will be the character specific legends all the newbies shake in their tennis shoes to play against. MAD PROPS.

oh fuck yeah ur brad is in full "get off me" mode!! All the time. To the point where i'll just lie there and let u kick me and not tech roll! My after tech roll defense sucks, so i prefer to lie there like an idiot unless u large pounce me. Your goh is sooooo frustrating Also, i feel like you consistently (usually) outplay me around small disadv. I.e. you handle -1 to -5 better than i do. I've came up with a few things to counter act it, and it's been working to a small extent. At least get's it a little more even. lol, i was ready for your jacky to be a TOTAL beast, and was surprised when it wasn't. lol, i could see u playing him a little like brad One thing i would say though, is jacky's "phase turn" is real weak compared to brads. But jacky is just sooooooooooo easy to use IMO. We need to rematch that goh vs jacky again Argh, glad i use goh and don't have to fight many good ones.

it's been so great having you here and playing u all week!! I notice you don't play vs other people with the same alacrity that you do vs me. When i watch u play online you fall into patterns with 'eh' moves. Wish you lived in the states (not alaska) permanently so you could have the whole online to play, and develop a universal game again. Thanks for the kind words. Hey T! Wow, I can't believe you haven't seen my posts before, granted I don't post nearly as much as I used to but that will change once FS comes around. My apologies to everyone else I play that I don't post GGs to. I know it's not a requirement, but online competition can make for someone looking like a dick if he/she never shows his face... err, posts.

I'm glad you said some of the things you did, and it's a coincidence because just yesterday I was thinking about our matches from a few days ago and you made me realize that not just you, but many others are starting to deal with my Shun a lot better. This of course can be a mix of things like becoming stale, bored of VF5 slightly, having a bad day, but those are excuses. On the contrary, I feel that many people are becoming much better and it's clearly because of the community still playing and with great interest. WE ALL LOVE THIS GAME or we wouldn't be here!

Furthermore when I was thinking back to our most recent matches I was surprised how much you were beating me down that day. At first I really did think I was having an off day, but more than that, your style seemed different. I know you usually play very offensively, and although I don't know jack about Brad, I'm sure he should be played this way. But that day your offense was beating me at every turn. I've noticed in any fighting game that when you have a series of matches where you're getting stuffed by everything it can only continue until the next encounter.

I want to play you more because you are the only Brad player that has made me realize that I don't understand him well. I think you are the first Brad player ever to give me as much trouble as you did that day. I kept finding myself saying, why the hell did that happen. That's what I'm supposed to be doing to you! =) Which is again why I say, people seem to be learning to deal with Shun, or at least my Shun, more effectively. I must and will change this. I think it's time to start implementing some of my forgotten tactics from VF3 & VF4. Now if I can just remember some of them. =)

Now if I could just find some more damn time to play. I already warned my fiance that when FS comes out, expect to see a lot less of me around the house, or just a lot more of me sitting in front of the tube! =D

I'd say that this guy is my teacher. Seriously. While playing with him i started to breaking throws a little, then i realized how nice can be OMs aganist rising attacks, and finally i see how scary weapon can back crouch dashes / dashes be when used in right situations.
