Mackfactor: It's been a pleasure to have talked to you after such a while, and our matches were great (even though I still loathe both Vanessa and Eileen). Loved that shldrm-basara mixup; correct me if I'm wrong but it only connects naturally (w/o you dashing forward) when the opponent ducks, right? Or in very rare scenarios, like vs. Kage being in a some specific stance, right?

Best thing to do is to avoid renew live gold. Game is fairly addictive, but its the mix of expectations and disappointment online that makes it very addictive for me. I mostly play weekends on 48 hours codes, its the best way for me.

that was hilarious when we took turns on that JAPANESE goh player.. Sucks that he left after only 1 match (since he did seem like a very good goh player< he did 33 P walk foward p 2p, 66P+K shrm on me>, but it felt good to low punch sabaki into basara twice b4 he left hehe. Im going to miss abusing low punch sabaki as much in FS. Ya vanessa and eileen are super strong, i hope to play them good one day still work in progress on those 2. Vs eileen, u use sabaki very nicely ( its so hard to use eileen when im scared of punching.. since all her moves are basically punches.. but her SHRM is the next best thing to a mule kick shun has ( : ..).
Um Shrm ram into basara, i usually just judge by distance.. I would assume if there are any stance specific stuff it would come from close stance cus thats where gohs power comes from? I dunt really know anything good in OPEN STANCE with goh yet. BTW despite the grey bars, u have incredible stagger breaking ability... I did shrm and i saw u stagger out and have enough time to fuzzy, i gotta work on STAGGER RECOVERY! also saw some very nice OM stuffs on that.. im gonna try ur 9K+G on wake up strat, i havent thought of that b4.

I've got plenty of back throws on Shun when he's entering his laying down stance but i'm not familiar enough with Shun to know when and how this is possible.

Sorry my reply is mad late... Definite ggs though!!! I do remember you givin' me the 'whoop-a-peel' when we fought some years back. Tons of Shun fights later and I felt I did pretty well considering I saw setups I've never saw from Shun... I mean I'm kinda trained to look for those jump setups and combo accordingly (thanks Tekken/SC) but I was watching what you did and was impressed, especially seeing how you're able to get quite a few hits on me before I could even hit the ground and tech. Let's do get some more matches in next time... I dunno what was up with the connection though, I went to reinvite and saw you in a match already, so I ended up fighting someone else...

 

Its nice to hear KOC posting here and I would like the say ggs to all the matches with him regardless of him playing akira, jeffry, or vanessa. I don't say much now but I figured I would say ggs to all the other people I faced up to now as well so you all don't feel forgotten, I enjoyed all the matches big time and ggs to all the great matches I will have in the future as well.

I will find Westtrade one of these days and see just how good he is myself. Looks like it will be fun already.

Checked this some more but couldn't test much as I had to do it on my own, only time I could get the backthrow is if I blocked low and let the second hit whiff in Shun's , not posible to get any throw after his .

This is quite strange and needs to be recognized!!! When I orginally found this out about a year ago I tested many different throws from characters and all result in normal throws. How in the hell is it possible that the game gives Jeffery the ability to do a back throw when the engine considers Shun facing forward???!!! The only thing I can think that would make this make sense is that for Jeffrey the game considers Shun facing backwards, but that still doesn't make sense why it would only apply to Jeffrey.

As for 1KK,G I know Shun can be back thrown by anyone in that instance. That has been the same since VF2 I think.

 

JHow, have you played Ced H Tone? He's a good Shun player who hardly comes on here but he has a lot of cool tricks. I thought he had played you since his Shun had that slippery play style that yours has but he said that he hadn't played you at all.

Anyway, I told him about you and how much he could learn from you. He's not on your level of Shun mastery but he's pretty good and I'm sure that if he plays you he will learn a lot and become even better.

Dennis, man you're strong, I can see why people avoid playing you sometimes, lol. Thanks for the advice, I feel I level up just applying what you tell me.

Social, always a pleasure, I can see why you give so many other players so many problems. Props on putting the monk down and trying out other characters. You play to win, you're very competitive and your pace is frantic. Great yomi and great reactions. Our games just keep getting better and better.

Overfiend, very, very fun matches. I can tell that you've been hard at work practicing and improving. Keep it up bro, you have a LOT of tough competition around you and living where you're living is swim or drown and you're def swimming. If FS drops and a tourney is held in NY, I can see you placing really well.

Akira Zero, great playing you again. Your Goh is pretty good. You've stepped up the aggressiveness of your overall game too. Your Eileen is coming along nicely.

Ced H Tone, for a player who hardly ever comes here you play very well. You prob won't read this but props on sticking with VF even after all those other shinier fighting games came out.

Nemesis Gamer, new guy, introduced to the game by Ladon. Try to take it easy on him guys. He's still learning.

 

Send me an invite to play whenever brotha, i'm always down to play. Even if you see me playing Street Fighter HD remix send me an invite, I usually only play that whenever I can't find no one to play me in VF.

 

I think I have played him but it was once and definitely awhile back. I do remember him being pretty good. I'd love to play him again.
