Good Games Thread

I know where your coming from here, but there is a problem. A lot of times people don't want to play my goh or my jacky, because they only want to play my best.

My lei fei. Who is still my strongest character.

However, people want me to use my lei cause he is my strongest, but right now, my goh is as strong as he has ever been (almost). My jacky is (almost) as strong as he's ever been. My lei is my strongest character but about 70% of what he is when i'm in practice with him. So i would rather play someone with goh and jacky and struggle to learn relationships of moves, and make adjustments, etc-and even lose the majority while doing it. I prefer this over using lei and splitting matches that i feel like i should be dominating.

But all that being said, in truth, a lot of times i have no interest in playing someones subs. Especially if i don't think they've put in adequate time practicing with them.

 

The last time i played you in rank i was on the second player side so my buttons was twisted since i only had it configured for the first place side. I don't pull but i was frustrated afterwards and i did a rage quit (Ill admit.). Now that i see the method to your style in player match i take back everything i said.In fact if i had any harsh feeling it would've been displayed at nyg7 instead i wanted to pick your brain about the VF3 tourny you won and learn a bit. I thought you was pussy footing around just for the helluva it in our matches since some would be straight forward than others. I have no problem playing you because we mainly beat up on each other practicing Iageri kicks. Although it may not be serious it still burns time (Notice i always take time out to play a few set with you.).

I don't have a 84% rank (I Wish lol!)it more less like 78% I played Jhow in ranked before plenty of times but i often get sidetracked finding him when others join and i lose contact waiting around (He has a winning record against me lol!.) Im quite sure i could beat some of those players in rank now and i don't mind losing. My only gripe is its not healthy enough where you can find meaningful rank matches against everybody rather than de-ranking and just staying there until you can be that one person.

When i first brought VF5 i was so behind because i quit at the beggining of Evo. if you played Evo and was good at it going into 5 you would be way ahead of the new class. I was playing Rank straight out the gate and getting destroyed by everybody doing shit i was doing in VF4 that was somehow still working against low level opponents but failed against Denkai,Adam, Konjou ETC. Thanks to player match i learn VF5 but by then i was barely about to rank up to hunter with the limited amount of players. I ranked up to Hunter pretty quick when i found the players who i can obtain that green bar from whenever they came out of hiding. now that rank is on for a bit i have no 360..

You a Good man Air Jacky. I Would love to play you in Rank matches along with everybody else.. I have nothing to lose because i KNOW how good i am.

Just to make one thing clear, initially I thought my live was to expire on the 8th of August but actually I made a mistake and it's to the 19th!

Also Shirt has generously given me a free 1 month trial so it looks like I'll be sticking around a bit longer then I thought; hopefully long enough to be able to buy gold membership.

gg's to evryone. i havent been playing much lately.. but when i do play its like 2am -5am at night. ill try to get more games in the daytime when evryone is up.

Does ne1 play Transformers war for cybertron or whatver its called. I just got the game, its pretty fun multiplayer. I saw Vanquish and i thought i pick up WFC since it looked similiar.

my apologies, i think i was feeling very hostile that day. Its hard to know what type of person ppl are without talking and msging.. So i took it the wrong way. When I first started VF, i remember how difficult it was and the ammount of time i took to get where i am at now, which still isnt very good. Whether it be a stomp on the ground after a round.. or ppl leaving after couple matches, getting into the VF community and playing with ppl was difficult. I think that day, i remember studying shuns frame data for the first time i think and i was excited to try him out.. so maybe thats why i got upset. my bad, for taking it the wrong way.

Hi everyone.. First time posting here, but I figured I might as well since I started playing again.

I didn't realize ranked was popular recently, so I'll try to jump on that side.

I personally find Ranking to be boring except when there are alot of people on the matches I play in ranked are fun regardless. When are most of you people on so I can see a decent amount of good ranking matches otherwise I will just stick to player matches mostly. GGs to all the people I faced since the last time I said an official GGs message to you people and the people I played in ranking too I just wish I could see more people playing ranking matches then the few people I saw this evening.

Neways, im having internet problems..
its seems when i play COD or transformers.. like First person shooter online.. my internet gets screwed up.. but other games its fun. neone know why?

 

no idea, sometimes if I dont play vf for ages then go on it it'll be real laggy. I wonder sometimes if my provider optomises my bandwidth for what i play the most.

macks cod skills are dire, he couldnt shoot me when i was running lap around him not doin nything.

GGs to Cf white worm tricky eileen with ur mid attacks throw mixups i will figure it out as i kept seeing 3p to throw then 3pp or something while getting up. i should evade more to gain advantage or stay down and patiently wait for an opening.

I was fighting you with my greaseball Jacky: greasy black hair, gold chain, dark skin, wifebeater. But yeah after a while if felt like you had my number, luckily I won the last couple but it was too late to affect my rank. Good stuff, I never know what the hell Lei is up to, and I find after I play for a while I don't have the patience to guard. Good games man

 

i thought you and wasted wish played a while too? i was waiting on him and he was playing akira vs lei and you were playing lei vs akira...

numbers from the other night.....but no social, we didn't really play for very long, as i recall..idk, its been a week or two.

Akirazero **sigh** i hate akira. and i hate you for being so fluid on all his moves. jk, jk. but really, sometimes i wonder why i even bother, but i suppose its the challenge of using akira that brings me back to the game right now, not the actual game itself. bitter sweet. haha, i feel like such a scrub 90% of the time

Sadly, when i use him, the longer the set, the less moves i use and the easier i become to defeat.

p.s. i'm about 50% better on 1p side.....as if we need confirmation of my scrubbiness.

edit: ditto at KO. ggs. i have no idea what to do against heavy weights with akira. i've never practiced or looked at his vs jeffrey combos....since i only play social ruin, numbers, and tfam.

Smb, have you tried playing Quest on the 2P side? It will help you get better on that side and sometimes it's more fun than online (but only on the hardest setting). If you start playing Quest without the goal of just winning and getting items, you can practice things like hit checking, ETEG, fuzzying and it will really help you out with move recognition.
I suggest you disconnect the internet cable from your xbox and try this. You might just have more fun, get better on the 2P side and get some items while you're at it
