ggs man. I'm not really that difficult to beat though. The issue was just that you repeated the same ending to some of your setups, like remember that whole PK situation? I don't know if Aoi is at advantage or not, but the first time we played, you hit me with that high circular that staggers, a few times. After that I just crouched and then you started going for sweeps after that too, so my choice was just to crouch after your PK. Rarely did you do a mid and a lot of times it was a slower mid too.

If you use that one stance with Aoi where she raises her arms up, then you'll be beating me just by odds alone.

Yo Grusslegrosser, man that joint had some weird delay to it or something. Like, I'd hit you with a jab normal or CH and I'd attempt throw but you'd throw me first, and it kept happening. So as the session went on, I started getting really really really pissed off. It pretty much set the pace for my matches against Lucky after that, where I just wanted to play the game to cool down and so I got into some unfocused patterns and other such stuff.

But yo, your Jacky was solid man, you were making some really good choices and I love what you do with his shuffle it kept looking like I could kick you but I missed. It's been a long time since I've seen Jacky's shuffle be used that way, I usually try that and fail cause I had never really practiced it I just try to feel out characters as I play them against folks. I don't want to take anything away from your wins when I mentioned the delay, cause you was playing good. Circumstances was just unfortunate today.

 

to be honest, i cant find any interest in VF anymore. I got used to play R and FS in the arcade, so lag and old VF wont give me enough motivate to play.

but if you want to play me, i can play few, but i know i cant use my charas well now. oh and i cannot play shun in VF5 anymore. i played too much R and FS...

Weiand - Your Wolf is Definetly getting stronger. I don`t consider myself to much of a 2p spammer, I think the options you were going for was to destroy the 2ps. Kudos for the amount of times you`d catch me with the clothesline. Usually when I tech recover from a reasonable distance.

Haze785 - I have no answer for this guy. His DMs are just to good and when things are going good for me I always get lag spikes still fun games though

ha, you need to lock yourself in a room with haze and not come out until you won 25 straight. I've played him a couple sets and was shocked he wasn't very tough after hearing you talk him up a bit. He's just got something good going vs you, but it doesn't translate too much further than that. Don't know if that makes you feel better or worse, but uh...you shouldn't be losing at all to this guy

P.S. i don't know who you use vs him but maybe give lei or jacky a try. Their auto punch counters, and hit tracking could throw a serious kink into his dmpk spammy style. Also i found jacky's half circs in combos lit him up pretty good. He couldn't get away worth a shit.

 

ggs to smb. I think over the past year you have started to develop (whether you realize it or not) a pretty good feel for what i try and accomplish offensively. You do a good job of naturally neutralizing what i try and do. Man if you quit playing the game like a stodgy old man, and could somehow harness a youthful exuberance again for exploring and creating and sharpening what you're doing, you could be a beast again. Thanks for the games.

ggs to mackfactor, hey speaking of attacking the game with an exuberance, nice jacky. Haha, beware, it's hard to go from jacky back to using other characters. He just flows so nice, and at times it feels like you can do anything you want with him. And OH MAN, that 6p is a beautiful mid. It's real hard to go back to characters that can't force vf logic down an opponents throat with that wonderful 6pk. It's a piece of work. Great spacing on the oki. It was lots of fun.

 

Thanks Ultralewis, I have been playing on and off with Akira since the beginning.

I was laughing at myself for falling to the same set up 100 times in a row, I could eventually wise up, but it would take me a while.

Shame you had to go after a while...lets do it again!

Yeah you hit it right on the mark man. It just mainly works against me. I agree he is not that good, but his style definitely clashes with mines and gives me a run for my money every time. Plus throw in a little lag and the fact that I react so sllllllooowwwllly now due to rust... man I just got owned lol! So I felt I gotta give him credit where credit is due. Against me he is definitely strong, but I can see how others will not find him worth the time.

By the way I was using Lei, but I've got lots of rust to scrape off. I was missing basic combos left and right so that wasn't helping either.

 

Haze does have an odd style, he'll get me a bunch until I start blocking low on reaction. (He has no pecking game whatsoever so he DMPK's all attempts at mixups) Hint: throw out a DMPK of your own and watch him 2nd guess himself just like everyone else who gets DMPK'd. He'll stay still enough for you get your damage in!

 

Big thanks to kobi for a nice set of games. I had to work for quite a few of my wins. I like that.
