Denkai: Shun Vs Goh was a very tricky fight, no idea how to defend it, ill take ur advise and try to fight close and rush in more next time. Btw, the sway back move what command input is that move ur talking about at +4? fun lion vs jeffrey. Wierd match Denkai's goh vs my Jacky but really fun long matches.

ggs to slide, nice games man. i couldn't crack your kage with my akira or goh the way it was going. Nice use of mid elbow too. lol, i had a feeling lei might be tough to handle with the slight lag. Nice job defending though. You defended everything well once or twice, just never put it all together at once. But still, you were at least mostly doing the right things.

Truewiseman: Sorry for busting out early but I felt too liberated due to my new stick. Figured I needed more practice with it before I go against a character I hardly know anything about.

Libertine: Thanks for sticking around. You might have noticed the Brad play a little differently after a while because I handed the stick off.

 

Can't hate on THE WEIAND. It's just not right. Besides, the guy posts legit. He holds down SHIFT when he types. No namby-pamby CAPSLOCK for him.

 

ggs. Uh you blew me up with Lei Fei. I swear I have still not figured the matchup out for Lei Fei players that use a ton of moves. I figured some strikes I can and could've used with Kage now for the matchup though, so next time you run that monk I got something for that.

I still don't understand how to combat Lei Fei, because everyone that uses him if they beat me to a pulp soon as I start climbing back out of the hole in the matchup, they end the session. There's still a couple characters I don't feel comfortable with their choice game in the matchups just yet using Kage.

So lag aside, it's just lack of matchup knowledge. I remember I used Lau once on Coz's Lei Fei a couple years ago, and took care of it, and I don't even know how to use Lau. It's like he has auto tools.

ggs to your brother too, Wasted Wish. It was mad laggy though man and you just kept attacking I got kind of mad and just had to end the session, no hard feelings.

You should've used more mulekick though, that's it man. Cause, whenever I was smelling the low, I would just jump over it, but some of my strike choices could've gotten handle with mulekick. I think I know what Kage can use against it though, but during the fight I didn't know what I could use but I would've just tried to evade it and stuff. My movement was only to get some space cause I get unsure of how Shun's moves go, so I need a bit of space so you'll whiff them.

 

True words, funny thing is I NEVER think to mule kick. Only got a few against you because I remembered from way back that you like to 2p after that flip over move. (when I actually didn't just eat the flipover hah)

all lag all day. it sucks. Back in my oklahoma days, lag was something i accepted and adjusted to, and didn't really care otherwise. But now that i'm in alaska its generally too much to deal with versus most people. And i'm pretty lag intolerant.

Despite all that, i couldn't quite figure out what to do about that stance (6p,p+k+g). I realize i should have just guarded (and mixed in sweeps) as there's not a terrible amount of trick things kage can launch from there. the main threats being 6p, and 3p, if i remember correctly.

But instead, i automatically tried to jab or 2p you out of it everytime......neither of which even hit kage. doh.

and yeah, the less i play, the more i attack. its a bad habit, but hard to break.
