The connection for us is double edged.

My Sarah is just that much stronger than my Kage. If my Sarah is decent, all my other characters are just bad, flat out in comparison. The cool news is that, the better I get with some other character, my Sarah levels up in the background like a party member. I go balls deep with Sarah because I feel I have no choice, because playing defensively isn't really a strength in her movelist.

VS Sarah though man, there's just some key things you can look for from the common stuff. In normal stance, don't crouch, especially when you wakeup, unless you're playing a character with sabaki and reversals. In flamingo stance, if you guard the mid kicks deep, and you're using Jacky just try 46K+G immediately. Another flamingo thing is, given the proper range, 3K will beat P and 2P after 4K on guard, where it usually shouldnt, and that's the trick. Jacky and Sarah seem to both be very good off the backdash, but in different ways. Also with Jacky vs Sarah, backdash after Sarah guards Jacky's 6P every now and then, because Sarah's 2P will always whiff cause it's the worst in the game, it will whiff where yours will always hit. Once you start getting punished for backdashing after 6P guard, then box step it, or backdash and then crouch down and guard the sweep or avoid the moving catch throw(I didn't do it though).

With this knowledge you could pretty much dismantle me with just Jacky's 6P alone, because Jacky doesn't have to worry too much about losing to 2P vs Sarah and Pak Sao keeps the P in check, so you see alot of mid kicks and elbows.

p.s. don't tech roll after neutral throw.

Did you save a match at some point? Or were you just taking a super long pause to rid me of my momentum, cause that worked lol.

Your offense though it's too hard to handle, cause you mix it up too well. Jacky's 1P+KPP is mad good cause it's total lockdown. You could probably run that over and over again, and I wouldn't know how to get out with Sarah's tools. I might have to start using summersaults in between, I bet that'll work.

Lucky is the only other person that would stuff jacky string consistantly with 2p but our connection is a better so i can punish a whiff 2p better. I mean we traded streaks but i kept getting frustrated because like i know i TE correctly but sarah just kept punishing me bad along with fuzzying.

But if you still hold the faith by "beating someone with laggy connection", that means you still don't realize what's the core of this game.

It's not a matter of " oh I'll challenge him once and see how it goes and if I lose I'll just pwn him the next time..." As I stated in my post and other posts from many months ago it's not a matter of win or lose for me... I will never stick around for a second match when it comes to playing with you. So why you felt the need to come find me again to get your revenge is pretty silly. You shouldn't have joined in the first place. I only tried to win because what the hell I mean you are in the match and I can't boot you so fuck it I'll play to win. But you kept re-challenging me, so I kept playing. Also, you completely failed to mention I nearly got 5 in a row on you before you hit your streak. If I was using such a pathetic strategy as you claim, how exactly did that happen?

Seriously, I flew off the handle before because of what I felt was willful ignorance on your part regarding how much lag we had in our matches, and the degree that that affected them. I don't think you are a bad player, but I just can't deal with our connection. As long as we don't have to fight each other online, can't we just get along?

Also, do you really think I represent everything bad about VF? I try to be as polite and respectful as I can, although I get pissed off sometimes, as does everyone. I try to be helpful to any player in the community who asks. I even spent the past weeks building a website in my spare time, which will be launching in the next couple of days (for real this time), that allows people to seek out quality competition online. If I represent the bad side of VF, I'd like to know just what exactly the good side is.

Everybody is beatable.. Just apply yourself and lose the Flash. PLay some defense and attack accurately. You have a uphill battle to climb against GT i suggest you get the proper gear before you start. You cant iceskate uphill.

 

This is a concept most people on LIVE just do not understand.

I can beat GT and it's not like I'm amazing. You can win if you don't just go in thinking you'll lose. Take it from me, with a nick like mine I can't be wrong.

 

Winning is 1 thing dominating is another thing. I have beaten GT a few times that doesn't mean I will beat him all the time because I won't win many matches against him seriously even if I have a positive mindset because of the difference in skill level. TWP does have good point though, you can't win unless you are confident you will win overall no matter what. If you think any other way you are destined to lose before you begin and you will have a fierce uphill battle to overcome your own doubt.
