Hey Blossy! Good matches we had today. Hope to play against you soon. As for what you said about Soul Calibur. If you ever want to get in a few rounds, I would really like to play against you. No worries about hate mail from me haha.

As for me. My experience playing against the Virtua Fighter community has been great. The only times I get aggravated though is when a person beats me once in a player match then immediately backs out. Any who, thanks VF players.

 

Good games to Darthminion (I think that's how you spell his username, sorry if I messed up) Had some great fights with you last night.

Really learned a lot from our brief encounter thanks again

Soulfulkanboo; our connection was awesome, he told me it felt much better as well. Chnged my goh vs wolf strat up did better, felt good in a losing cause.

Ryuta 3tb: met this guy in ranking *HUNTER... offered him a player match, and he's a very good lion. again, uppercuts in closed stance, was messing me up. High class lions eat me alive... goh/li

Kasimasi Yamamoto: i hear this guy is one of the top players on xbox live now (he's improved so much in the last 3 months), i played his GOH long time ago, el blaze, jeffrey, Lau, and his jacky is insane.

shumai; shun is getting better ( : . Why is he the only person on at night. EL blaze vs Shun was fun. El blaze is so dirty... lol, DM P+K near a wall for wall splash is fun. EL blaze's OM is insane. his ring OUT potentials seems awesome. Im enjoying EL BLAZE alot... and losing interest in brad, now.

North245: goh vs wolf was fun.

NOOBQU: Aoi is getting stronger. i got the 33p bounce combo several times. I tried 11p delay, and 6 hold... for bounce.. I think its a timing thing.. i dont think delaying 1 frame with 11 p helps.

 

Back on last night for the first time in AGES.

GGs to Blossy. Thanks for helping me shake some of the rust off. You Sarah gave me some trouble (as Sarah normally does) but after I started getting into the swing of things again I was picking up on things that you do.

Your biggest weakness was that you rarely used throws at all. They're an important part of your offence, you can't miss them out.

Finally got to play some with you. Akira vs Jacky though, I'll have to show you my Jacky at some point. I'm still coming back up to speed but after I noticed you had one big weakness I was able to pick at it.

You always follow through with your strings. Most notably beatknuckle. You probably noticed this too but I was just crouching under just about everything you threw at me and then I would throw you. You should learn to hit check your moves and using Jacky's elbow is a MUST. It wouldn't hurt to work on your throw escapes as well. I was doing the same throw more or less all the time.

I don't know if I've played you before, your name didn't ring any bells. Maybe you just appeared when I was away, maybe you just became better when I was away, I don't know.

I had a lot of fun in our matches, man. Jacky vs Jacky was fun and so was Blaze vs Jacky this morning. I've started noticing some patterns you have and you're really helping me get back up to speed so I appreciate the games.


Was nice to get back on, been a long time. Marly, I'll be about tonight at some point hopefully. So if you can get on I'd like to have a few rounds!

 

Thanks for the advise dude, I will work on hit checking and the throws. Was good to finally play you though man, but I was blown away by how much damage Akira can do in a single combo.

 

Akira hits very hard. I wan't even doing max damage combos most of the time. I was just trying to get used to buffering double palms again.

Marly, I'll be rusty as hell but I'm sure after a few matches I'll be right as rain

 

Thanks for your patience Marly, I really sucked. I very much appreciate the advice you gave me earlier, I really thought about all of it even though it didn't show. I focused too much on what not to do all the time and kind of froze and did many stupid things. I simply need more time to let it sink in I guess.

I tried hard not trying to myself out of fl on disadvantage but from I still did it on purpose because I actually didn't know it does less damage than a normal . I've just assumed it does the same damage for some reason. After a while when I accepted the fact it didn't work I tried to backflip instead but as you probably noticed I accidently went into step stance instead most of the time... Hopefully I'll be at least a bit better next time.

GGs to Methylidene (I think). Very good and flashy Sarah, at one point I almost intentionally stopped defending to see how many fl +, (on hit) he could do in one string.
