Not a good deal, shitty machine also. I got the same thing with core2duo / bluray for 550$ when they were on sale 6 month ago.

    but here:
    http://www.recoupit.com/Laptops/Dell/Studio-17/Dell-Studio-17-Black-p7785996.html

same thing for cheaper and no tax. The seller is good too, fast shipping and 30 day returns. The question you should ask yourself is: Do I really want a 10lb laptop with a shitty processor and screen? P.S. I have laptops for sale. You should buy from me. And also, if you plan to go pc > hdtv via hdmi prepare for headaches with hdmi overscan. You should get a nvidia graphic card if you plan to do this.

It's seems Best Buy made a mistake on this and it's no longer up. I received my email confirmation for pickup on the 2 that I ordered before it came down, so here is hoping that when I go to pick them up in about 2 hours I get them. If not well it looks like I will be canceling that order lol.

Ok I got lucky... I got the deal! [IMG] When I first got there they already had my order prepackaged so I asked could I look at it first. Of course it wasn't what was online! It was the messenger kit - headset - 1 month of LIVE. I laughed in my head! I told the lady this is not what I order online and it was suppose to come with a game. She said she would look into it and get back to me.

She left the station to check on things and like 20 minutes later (thank god cause I was getting tired of waiting... either it's YES or NO and if it's NO then give me my money back) she comes back with both of the 12 month LIVE - PGR4 kits in hand. Now I'm waiting for her to tell me it's gonna cost more, but she walks past me and then goes into the back of the store to rescan everything. I'm waiting again about another 10 minutes then finally she comes out and ask me to sign the receipt. I checked the price and it was still $65.3x with a $0.00 price difference reference.

She bagged me up... YAY! And I headed home! I'm gonna check my bank account on Monday / Tuesday just to confirm that they won't adjust the price on me over the weekend. If they do I will raise hell because now I have receipts that state the price and that it should be no price adjustment difference from what I paid.

damn you Shang... why during the X-mas holiday shopping week *chokes yellow man* . Well if it's still around after the holidays I might bite. I really need a new PC... Could careless about using it for gaming since I don't play PC games, but it would be nice to have something that kicks ass and won't be needing any updating for a while.

    Any pics of the monster?

    thanks!

To Rodney or anyone who's interested:
    it is basically this computer:

    LINK

The good thing about this machine is that it has 2 hot swappable SATA2 3.5in HDD bays in the front, so you can switch HDDs without opening the case. And it has a retractable mediacard reader with 2 usb ports, so you press the button the ports pop out, and you press it down it's hidden.

I'm looking to unload it immediately. The monitor is really excellent. You can hook up 2 gaming consoles and your pc at the same time and with 1 press of a button you can switch video/audio. The PQ blows away screen under 500$ easily. The machine can decode 20+ 1080p movies at the same time no problem. Core i7 is no joke. I also have an OCZ Summit 60GB SSD I can include for an additional 150$. If you don't know what this SSD can do ask Sal, he bought the last machine I sold. PM or Email if interested.
