Couple things:

2) Rockars is a new company (which can up the risk factor for you), geared at deals for Pro Gaming fans (I'm not quite in that group, I just happen to be nuts about Astro Gaming).

3) I'm personally a big fan of Astro Gaming. I picked up the A30s at PAX and ordered the 5.8 Wireless Mixamp which works wonderfully for my console setup at home and has allowed me to really enjoy my gaming when game audio could bother my wife but I still want it loud. The headsets are very very comfortable for long periods of use. I also love the design.

Damn I wish tht was available in the UK. My Turtle Beach's broke ages ago and I need a new headset for FPS's.

Btw To work with consoles you need the mixamp. I recommend buying an audio system because the bundles are way cheaper than otherwise.

Since I said I would post with my experience with the deal....

The Rockars deal for the Astro Gaming credit ($100 coupon for $50) is real and it works. I ordered a coupon and then used it and got stuff I was planning to get already at half the price + shipping ^_^

It did take me about an hour before everything was processed (PayPal processing and then getting issued a coupon) but it worked out and I used it at the Astro Gaming site.

Again, my most recommended purchase is a mixamp or a headset. The Astro Scout Backpack is also very nice for gatherings!
