they get together every friday at columbia...
I may not show up this week, (will see kill bill at 6 or 7)

We meet in the Torco Building 624 S Michigan Room 6th floor 603 and we will be playing VF4 evo, GGXX (maybe), Super Smash Bros.,SF games and more. We may have ranking battles this week too. Where we play on a point system. But that is very experimental.

I will be there but i might not make it til about 6 or so

Why Friday... weekends are a little better and might help the few of us that would need to fight traffic to get there. I fucking hate going downtown due to the traffic involved.

sorry dude . . .but thats the ONLY day we can get the lab to ourselves w/out any complaints from students and or faculty. . .but if you wanna play somewhere out side the club email us and let us know. besides where we are parking should not be that bad on Fri. nights there is not much to see or go to on fridays where we are.

My god... sky does live here now... welcome! I've heard your Sarah is pretty sharp. I dabble in her a bit, but Aoi seems to be the only fit.

Well I'm off to Japan until the 20th, after that I'd like to get in as much game as possible. Unfortunately, I'm loading up on gaming since I'll be going under the knife in early November and unable to use an arm until mid-December. Well, assuming playing in Japan doesn't end with me getting owned so hard I cry whenever I look at VF...

Anyway, if anyone's willing to make the trek out to the burbs; well I can't speak for him, but I'm sure Shota, Fury, and I will be available. I'll try to make the Friday on the 24th and bring some of the burb crowd with.

Yeah, was expecting to see you last Friday, WCM. Hopefully more VF4 players will be there this week.

Sarah = somewhat familiar b/c of flamingo, although it's nice to go into FL with + frames on BLOCK... woah
My Akira = DLC maniac, haha, that's like all I do after stuns and juggles. I suck at modified DLPM...

BTW, I'll probably make it this Friday. It's closer than I thought (I live on South Shore Drive). As for trekking to suburbs, I dunno if I'll have the time really...

Rob was pretty out of VF shape (*cough toomuchSoulCalibur2 cough***) but how do you think we play are pretty good, just ok, or do we need work in some areas. Its hard for us to find players of this game period. So come on back. but WE REALLY NEED MORE PEOPLE TO COME AND PLAY!!!!!! I have a hard time getting new people to play it. Like they are scared of it or something. Anyway. . . .

As far as the burbs is concerned. . well what burbs are you guys from? If it is not too far maybe I can arrange something. . .

Hmm... well, I'm not good at VF4 or anything, but my views:

We have a lot of work to do. I didn't see much sidestepping done. Also, I'm sure we're not at the point where we are using advanced techniques like E-DTE, fuzzy guard, etc. This is just general gameplay stuff and will just probably come over more time, but should be some practice of it.

Also, some people seemed to be just too low jab happy against Sarah's FL. She can kill low jabs like nothing. FL K will beat out low punches for CH which = more guaranteed damage, and FL P+K reverses low punches into a free FL f+K+G float.

But like I said, I'm not good at VF4 either so, we can work on it.

I may make it this friday...
but i may be able to only stay until 7...
i can get there as early as 4 though..

I'll have to hold something at my house one of these weekends.. so we can get some games going..
but if you'd also like to get together during the week sometime , i'm usually in the area on tues/thurs evenings also (my friend and sister live right near china town)..

Even the Japs don't E-DTE. Technically speaking, anyone can E-DTE, but doing so doesn't leave enough frames from block. You can see this on 1/60th. Well gotta run to meeting, more later.

I'll be there today (the 17th) at around 4 give or take. My name's Jayson so be expecting me. I'm really looking forward to my first real competition since moving out here to Chicago. I'm afraid I might be overestimating my own skill, but I guess I'll see today.
