Well,
lets see im definately free most fridays..
and some weekends..
this weekend is ideal, have not much to do and work is slow until next week....
As shota can attest, i never look at move lists/faqs until late in the games life..(i've only been relying on my vf3 techniques and figuring stuff out)
I think i will start to look at some now so i can vary my game.. Its just i've always been a fan of the sound and music in vf as much as the game play.. and as i told harold/shota.. especially with jeff's knee, i love the sound and never get enough of it which is why i do knee to knee.. just for the sound.. i do have fun playing all you guys..

what has made you stick with the game ?? most people we've tried to get in have moved on after a while,, but you guys have stuck around.. that s great because the rest of the chi crew i think was too used to each others gameplay that we became a bit bored..
i'll talk to harold and see if he's free so we can ride up there.. and get something too eat..

No no no... you had more than enough chances to talk with him in person about this. It's too easy to start shit like that over the net, man. Especially with that kind of "attitude".

I'll vouch for Fury since I was right there watching you guys. But as seasoned gave vets (damn that sounds corny), I'd have to say that your attitude is the one I'd call into question. Maybe it's just lack of game etiquette on your part, but you came off as rather insulting.

Maybe you were all just being a little too enthusiastic (in fact, I know you were, I'm just trying to illustrate a point here), but there's no need to be in such a rush to exchange complimentary remarks or shake hands after every single game. More commonly, everyone sits around and plays, handshakes are given for really close games, and then everyone says their parting crap when it's time to go. Any more than that, and you're just going to come off as really annoying.

Normally I wouldn't even bother to explain all this. But understand that from our perspective, you were the one behaving poorly.

this is how we operate at the game club

-we really dont care win/loss records and/or domination.

-Mostly we value the game if a good game is played and or decent match. If you get yor butt kicked or not. If give you respect to your opponent respect will be given back to you, vice versa. I.E. if we play a good game either I or any other memeber of our club will stop and give you props regardless if its 3 games, 2, games, 1 or 100. Doesnt matter. Thats how we play. I give props after a game "I" feel was well played win or lose.

-we dont talk shit to people we dont know off the street. (Unless someone talks shit to us first.) We talk shit to each other cuz we played each other for so long and we are all friends.

-we "TRY" to make everyone feel welcome when they come to the game club. So if we speak to you when you walk in we expect the same treatment. If you play a game with us and we are respectful toward you during game play we expext the same.

I felt disrespected so thats why posted what i post.

Shit... try not to think about it then. I don't know you well enough to disrespect you... don't you think? Nothing in this world is passive, so, if you felt that way it was partly you looking to feel such.


Bottomline though, I don't want to deal with the traffic and the annoying security bitch again. So you won't see the 'burb group out there again. No offense, we do like fighting new people, but... the hassle is a bit much and I don't even know if we can get in now.

I've let some of my worse enemies in my home. While you're not of that class, I say it to demonstrate that all are welcome out here regardless of what has happened in the past.

Also, don't get the wrong idea, we don't keep track of score or anything serious... we pretty much know the tiers and accept them. Like I may draw even with Kageh from time-to-time, but he's hands down the better player... by miles. I was just point it out because... well normally, we don't use the terms you use for sets that really weren't close. Fury saw that originally and was fairly insulted (from the first gathering). Granted, he gets insulted easily, but still... typically it's just best to say "GGs all" and give your respects in person.

Anyway, WCM, I hope you enjoyed last night's game. Although your and my mentality toward winning are different, I truly hope that you had fun. I do appreciate you picking up on different characters, as I hardly have a chance to play human players outside of Chicago.

Now Brad and Lei are two remaining characters I yet face in human competition.
