    can someone please explain the last post?
    this is what im making of it:

    when aoi in YY stance [4_][P][K][G] and L/R high kick hits then the following moves can be used:
    [4_][4_][P][K] and [4_][3_][P]
    if L/R mid kick hits then the same moves also apply

    i don't get the second half /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif

    If it helps, I used chu ching's excellent aoi reversal information and put it into my guide:

    Inashi reversal (b+P+K vs. circular attacks) followups
    ------------------------------------------------------
    >>vs. Crescents (e.g. jacky's K+G) -> b,b+P+K -> K,K -> df+P (ground attack) [57 pts]
    >>vs. Sweeps -> (e.g. aoi's d+K+G) -> b,f+P+K -> f+K,K [56 pts]

    Inashi reversal (yin/yang stance) followups
    -------------------------------------------
    vs. High/Mid Punches, Elbows -> f,f -> P+G (back throw) -> df+P (ground attack) [62 pts]
    vs. High/Mid Kicks -> b,b+P+K -> K,K -> df+P (ground attack) [57 pts]
    vs. Sidekicks -> b,f+P,P+G [55 pts]
    vs. Knees -> Nothing is guaranteed. Side throw possible?
    [none of the above are entirely confirmed]

    It's not called Ying Yang stance btw. It's Heaven and Earth stance (don't have the English version, if it's called YY there, it's a minor translation blunder from Sega)
    Or King Kong Palm for Drew Barrymore fans /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

    Don't know if any one knows, but what do you do after you get an inashi ([2]+[P]+[K]) against a double-footed low attack (e.g. Akira's rising attack) in Evo? In this inashi, Aoi looks like she spins to the side (looks like Ying Yang ~ [2] or [8]), but the opponent doesn't get the wiggle-the-joystick struggle animation.

    I'm pulling this out of the air but, how about sidekick? Should stagger the opponent since it's a low attack.
    (Just a suggestion, haven't played Evo yet /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif)

    for double feet attacks..aoi cannot reverse or inashi them

    all she merely does is evade...

    Question is, is it still technically an inashi since it's executed with [2][P][K]? Or just a canned dodge?

    I think it's considered a reversal, w/ the dodge motion and no damage. It's definitely not an inashi. They could've done better - I think her grabbing Lei Fei by the ankles mid air, slamming him down and racking him would've been great.

    Not too bad actually. The work thing looks like it'll sort itself out in my favor... nothing for sure. VF has definitely been on the back-burner, but I have been playing very casually for the last 3 months or so that I've not been here. There have been more than a couple 2-weeks stretches where I didn't even touch it though. I don't suck as bad as I thought I would at this point, but I did wind up dropping my Shun down a rank - doh.

    Not too much has changed on the scene from the few times I've gone, which I guess is okay. I think my overall opinion of my VF hiatus is that I saved a ton of money. I'll do my best to pop in on a semi-regular though. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

    That's my efforts for saving money. IE - sticking to a couple of home games. It's one of my PSO characters. JPN players can upload snapshots to the Visual BBS.

    I never knew how much money I spent on games (Evo at the arcades, and buying new games) until I stopped, and focused on just a couple of games I've got. In that sense, online RPGs are great, as they can keep you occupied for a while, and cost almost nothing after the initial cost.

    If I could get some people past my woman I could do the same for Evo at home, but I doubt that'll happen in the box I live in. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

    I'd like to note that I find Aoi's [P][P][6][P]([G]) to be one of her most useful guard cancels. The reason being that most people tend to always think you're going to do the easier [P][P][6][P][P]([G]) cancel instead. Since they're usually waiting for the 2nd elbow to come out, they often fall for a standing throw, or a low punch into a standing throw following a [P][P][6][P]([G]) cancel. Doing another set of elbows afterwards (or [4][3][P] in ver. c) is also a nice alternative, which will force your opponent into a rather annoying (so I've been told) guessing game. When mixed up properly (you'll need variety to out-guess any good opponent), I believe that these are some of Aoi's best offensive tools.

    If you do the same cancel too much, people will start low punching you (succesfully) right when you cancel. For a change, do the normal [P][P][6][P][P] but space them out. If the 3rd one hits on a counter, the 4th is guaranteed. They go down, and it's nice damage.

    Very true Gaijin /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif,

    That's why I wrote this at the end /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif "When mixed up properly (you'll need variety to out-guess any good opponent)." Besides using [P][P][6][P][P], I like to use [P][P][P][K] and [P][P][P][2][K], and sometimes delay the knee/sweep a the end. Also, [P][P][P], dash forward once (due to her crappy throw range) low throw is a nice "sucker tactic" that seems to work often as well.
