On a completely different note, i just saw the film 1984, which was made in 1984. I have read the book before but i must say that the film was outstanding. Oceania really did look like a war ravaged shithole and the acting from john hurt was brilliant. How in the hell did this film NOT get an oscar/oscar nomination?

The apple ad in question was and still is fantastic. very slick and completely in keeping with what I considered the tone of the book. Further, they updated the commercial during the launch of the ipod. Still a good commercial despite the digital corruption.

I kinda have to agree with KS here. He didn't really do anything greatly offensive here. He just stated his opinion, which is his right, and he did it in a non-offensive manner IMO. So you guys need to chillax. If we want to have a discussion where opinions are stated and debates are going on, then how can we do that when we tell someone to fuck off just because you don't like their opinions. Everyone knows that there are people in the world who will not always agree with your views and beliefs, so you have to take it in a mature and responsible way. If I had a quarter for every time I saw a person disagree with me I would be rich. I am consiously aware that people won't always agree with my views so I just try to take arguments in a logical and mature way.
