How did you find VFDC

For me it was an accident I was playing VF4 Evolution and I was stuck big time and on the verge of quitting out of just how hard the game was and I really needed help back then so I went all over the web in search of help and I found this place but I didn't join as an official member for a while I used the character help sections at first. I didn't think of it as a serious site back then but now it is serious to see just how serious it was then and now.

I found this haven of a fighting game board known as VFDC and well, I've never looked back(Well, I occasionally drop by TZ)...

 

For me I was trying to find out when VF4 was going to be released. Searched VF at MSN and found the site. Doesnt seem like 6 years ago.

 

I was getting back into VF with 4 (never really got into 3). I wanted to learn more about the game than what the Training Mode taught me so I figured there HAD to be a site dedicated to the game. Took a stab at typing virtuafighter.com into my brower, and the rest....

Found this goldmine after getting my ass handed to me over XBL. Everyone was saying " Go check out VFDC if you want to get better"

 

I got curious and one day I said, "Is there a Virtua Fighter website?" I typed it in and (BOOM!) it appeared.

 

My brother, GreatDeceiver, is one of the oldest members of this forum and got me into this whole Virtua Fighter thing! He showed me the path! Kudos for you man!!!

 

was trying to get better at vf4 in like 2005, read the guides here.

didn't actually register until last year though, lol.

 

I actually have been visitng the site for about 2 years, but only signed up this month.
I found it by just looking up "Virtua Fighter Website" on google
It was quite easy to find actually

 

Boy I feel so old...

It's been about 9.5 years for me now (and to think, I was considering awfully young in the scene back then).

It was almost immediately after I got a Dreamcast and picked up the one game I'd been wanting to play a lot of but couldn't find in nearby arcades for long enough stretches--Virtua Fighter 3! Well, it was VF3tb (DC version anyways--it's not an exact port of any arcade version).

I looked for Virtua Fighter sites right away and found VFDC, Hardcore Gaming's VF page, and a few others ^_^

I quickly earned a reputation for posting too many long posts (and too much in general) and on top of improving my VF game (especially after going to NYG2 way back in the day), I learned about the earlier generations of travelling VF and online VF--The Home of VF, newsgroups, etc...

Good ol' days ^_^

I lurked for about a year, browsing for stats every so often, before I actually joined. Found it just by typing in 'virtua fighter' on Yahoo search.
