How hard is VF compared to other FGs?

I'm inclined to think that VF has a higher initial learning curve than most fighters, but once you're grounded in the basics, it seems like it's all minor tweaks to your game from there.

After playing this game a couple of more days
i believe its as hard as you want it to be.
Easy to learn it (not very noob friendly due to not buttonmash
happy though) but hard to master.
If you give it enough time it will give back like in SSF4.
A good player who has some understanding of the VF/SSF4 mechanics will never loose to a noob.
Overall its a rewarding experience not a game simple. [IMG]

  3. I'm a dead or alive player, I love this game. All communities have their issues, it happens. Skill really isn't the issue as every fighter is different. Every single game is different or why would we play them or compare and stay on our favorite one. Enjoy the games and help all communities thrive or fighters will die off. Most importantly remember they are GAMES, something to enjoy for all.

I've been enjoying fighting games for a long time, and while each have their own spin on combat, the variety which Virtua Fighter brings is the most appealing due to the kung-fu movie pace it sets. Just when you think you're down and out, you catch your opponent off guard, and turn the tables in a flash. Street Fighter, while fun, doesn't have that same magic for me. It may very well for others, but just not for me.
